Lauriane Genest (born 28 May 1998) is a Canadian professional racing cyclist. [1] [2] [3] She rode in the women's team sprint event at the 2020 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Berlin, Germany. [4] She qualified to represent Canada at the 2020 Summer Olympics. [5] Genest would win the bronze medal in the keirin event. [6]

Marquardt was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 16. Marquardt is an 27-time U.S National Champion, 4-time U.S National Record Holder in the Standing 500m Time Trial, Standing 1km Time Trial, Team Sprint (2-rider) and Team Sprint (3-rider).
