The 2019 BDO World Trophy was a major darts tournament run by the British Darts Organisation. It was held between 30 August and 1 September 2019 at King George's Hall, Blackburn, England. [1]

Glen Durrant and Fallon Sherrock were the defending champions, after beating Michael Unterbuchner (10–7) and Lorraine Winstanley (6–3) respectively in the finals of last year's edition. However, Durrant was unable to defend his title after his switch to the PDC, while Sherrock lost 4–3 to Mikuru Suzuki in the first round.

Jim Williams claimed his maiden major title by beating Richard Veenstra 8–6 in the men's final, while Lisa Ashton won her third World Trophy after a 6–2 win over Anastasia Dobromyslova in the women's final.

Fallon Sherrock is an English professional darts player who plays in British Darts Organisation events. Born in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Sherrock reached the final of the 2015 BDO Women's World Darts Championship, where she was runner up to Lisa Ashton. In 2019, Sherrock became the first female to win a match, and subsequently two consecutive matches, at the PDC World Championships, first by beating Ted Evetts 3–2 in the first round, and then Mensur Suljović 3–1 in the second round, before eventually losing 4–2 to Chris Dobey in the third round.

Aileen de Graaf is a Dutch darts player playing in the British Darts Organisation.

2020 PDC World Darts Championship 27th edition of the PDCs World Championship event

The 2020 PDC World Darts Championship was the 27th World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the British Darts Organisation. The event took place at Alexandra Palace in London from 13 December 2019 to 1 January 2020.

The 2020 BDO World Professional Darts Championship was the 43rd World Championship organised by the British Darts Organisation, and the 1st staging at the Indigo at The O2 in London. It was the first BDO World Darts Championship not held at the Lakeside Country Club since 1985.

The 2019 One80 L-style World Masters was a major tournament on the BDO/WDF calendar for 2019. It took place from 23–28 October at the Circus Tavern in Purfleet, Essex, which is the former PDC World Championship stage.
