The 2019 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship will be the 15th edition of the CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament, the quadrennial international age-restricted football tournament organised by CONCACAF to determine which men's under-23 national teams from the North, Central American and Caribbean region qualify for the Olympic football tournament.
The CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament is an under 23 international football (soccer) event in the North America, Central America and the Caribbean region, and is the qualification tournament for the Olympic Games. The competition had different formats during the years. 2008's version of the CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament was called the 2008 CONCACAF Under-23 Championship.

The men's football tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics will be held from 23 July to 8 August 2020. It will be the 27th edition of the men's Olympic football tournament. Together with the women's competition, the 2020 Summer Olympics football tournament will be held in six cities in Japan, including Olympic host city Tokyo, which the final will be hosted at the Olympic Stadium. Teams participating in the men's competition are restricted to under-23 players with a maximum of three overage players allowed.

The North American Football Union (NAFU) is a regional grouping under CONCACAF of national football organizations in the North American Zone. The NAFU has no organizational structure. The statutes say "CONCACAF shall recognize ... The North American Football Union (NAFU)". The NAFU provide one of CONCACAF's representatives to the FIFA Executive Committee.
The Canada men's national under-23 soccer team or the Canada Olympic soccer team represents Canada in international soccer at this age level and is controlled by the Canadian Soccer Association, the governing body for soccer in Canada.
The Mexico national under-23 football team represents Mexico in international football competitions such as the Olympic Games, Pan American Games, the Toulon Tournament, and their respective qualification phases. The selection is limited to players under the age of 23, except for the Olympic Games which allows the men's team up to three overage players. The team is controlled by the Mexican Football Federation (FMF), the governing body of football in Mexico.
Regional qualification tournaments will be held in Central America and Caribbean to determine the five teams joining Canada, Mexico, and the United States at the final tournament.

CONCACAF announced on 12 August 2015 that the United States would host the tournament between 10–21 February 2016 in Houston and Frisco, Texas. A total of eight teams played in the tournament.
The 2016 CONCACAF Women's U-17 Championship was the 5th edition of the CONCACAF Women's U-17 Championship, the biennial international youth football championship organised by CONCACAF for the women's under-17 national teams of the North, Central American and Caribbean region. The tournament was hosted by Grenada and take place between 3–13 March 2016, as announced by CONCACAF on 15 May 2015. A total of eight teams will play in the tournament.
The 1996 CONCACAF Men's Pre-Olympic Tournament, was the 9th edition of the CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament. It was an age restricted football tournament to determine which national under-23 age group teams qualify for the men's football tournament at the 1996 Summer Olympics from the CONCACAF region. The tournament was hosted by Canada and took place between 10–19 May 1996. It was the first time in which teams that qualified for the Olympics were permitted to supplement their rosters with three players not restricted by age in its 18-man final list.
