Valentino Rossi is an Italian former professional motorcycle road racer and nine-time Grand Prix motorcycle racing World Champion. Nicknamed The Doctor, he is widely considered to be one of the greatest motorcycle racers of all time, with some labelling him as the greatest ever. He has nine Grand Prix World Championships to his name, seven of which were in the premier 500cc/MotoGP class. He holds the record for most premier class victories, with 89 to his name. He won premier class World Championships with both Honda and Yamaha. He is also the only road racer to have competed in 400 or more Grands Prix, and rode with the number 46 for his entire career.
Marco Melandri is an Italian retired motorcycle road racer who is a five-time premier class race winner. He is the 2002 250 cc World Champion and runner-up in 125 cc, MotoGP and Superbike World Championship. He competed in the MotoGP class from 2003 to 2010 and then a brief return with Aprilia in 2015.
The 2006 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season was the 58th Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Road racing World Championship season. Antonio Elías Justícia is a Spanish former professional motorcycle racer and inaugural champion of the Moto2 World Championship. He is the third member of the Elías family to compete in motorcycle racing. He last rode in the MotoAmerica AMA Superbike Championship, where, in June, he abruptly announced his retirement mid-way through the 2023 race-season.
Antoni Bou i Mena is a Spanish professional motorcycle trials rider. He has been the sole outdoor and indoor FIM Trial World Championship champion from 2007 to 2022. With these 32 world titles, he is the most successful rider in history, surpassing Dougie Lampkin and Jordi Tarrés who is third with 7 outdoor titles. At the age of 20 years and 5 months, Bou was the second youngest rider ever to win the World Indoor Title, and the youngest to do it on a 4-stroke motorbike.
Takaaki Nakagami is a Japanese Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing for LCR Honda Idemitsu in MotoGP. He won the Japanese Road Race Championship 125cc class in 2006 and J-GP2 class in 2011.
Emma Elizabeth Fry is a British professional motorcycle trials rider and eight-times Women's World Trials Champion. In 2014, Bristow became the first British rider to win the Women's FIM Trial World Championship. She also has two FIM SuperEnduro World Championships, a two-time European champion in the Women's FIM Trial European Championship in 2013 and 2017 and ten British women's titles.
Joan Mir Mayrata is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer who, from 2023, is riding for the Repsol Honda Team. Mir is best known for winning the 2020 MotoGP World Championship with Suzuki. He is the fourth Spanish rider to win the premier class title after Àlex Crivillé, Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Márquez, and the second Mallorcan after Lorenzo. Mir also won the 2017 Moto3 World Championship title with Leopard Racing.
Jeroni Fajardo, is a Spanish International motorcycle trials rider. Fajardo was the 2002 FIM European Trials champion and member of the winning Spanish TDN team in 2004 and 2006 through 2015.
Luca Marini is an Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing for Mooney VR46 Racing Team in the 2023 MotoGP World Championship. He finished as runner-up in the 2020 Moto2 World Championship. He is the maternal half-brother of Valentino Rossi.
Sandra Gómez Cantero, is a Spanish Women's International motorcycle trials rider. Gomez has twice been Spanish Women's Trials Champion and a member of the Spanish Trial Des Nations winning team on five occasions, including 2017.
The 2020 FIM MotoGP World Championship was the premier class of the 72nd F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season.
The 2021 FIM MotoGP World Championship was the premier class of the 73rd F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Fabio Quartararo won his first world title, with five race wins ahead of securing the title in the third last race of the season. Quartararo became the first ever Frenchman to win the premier class title, which was also the first title for a non-Spanish rider since Australian Casey Stoner in 2011. The season also saw Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martín win their first premier class races. In the overall standings, Bagnaia secured second place and reigning champion Joan Mir secured third place, while Martín was named rookie of the year. Ducati secured the constructors' championship for the second consecutive season and the teams' championship for the first time since 2007. In total, eight different riders won Grands Prix during the season.
The 2019 NATC trials season was the 46th season. It consisted of eight trials events in three main classes: Pro, Expert and Womens Pro. It began on 25 May, with round one in Nebraska and ended with round 8 in Oregon on 23 June.
The 2018 NATC trials season was the 45th season. It consisted of ten trials events in three main classes: Pro, Expert and Womens Pro. It began on 21 April, with round one in New Mexico and ended with round ten in California on 2 September.
The 2020 World trials season consisted of eight trials events with four main classes: Trial GP, Trial 2, Women's and Women's 2. It began on 5 September, with round one in Isola, France and ended with round 8 in Lazzate, Italy on 11 October.
The 2021 World trials season consisted of six trials events with six main classes: Trial GP, Trial2, Trial 125cc, Trial E-Cup, Women's Trial and Women's Trial2.
