The 2019 National Games of Nepal, [1] also known as the 8th National Games of Nepal and informally Lumbini 2019 are held from 18 April 2019 to 24 April 2019 [2] in Nepalgunj, Lumbini Province.
Teams are from all 7 Provinces and 3 departmental Clubs of Nepal as well as a team representing Non-Resident Nepali, NRNA.

Tribhuvan University is a public university located in Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal. Established in 1959, TU is the oldest and the largest university in Nepal. It offers 1,000 undergraduate and 500 postgraduate programs across a wide range of disciplines. Additionally, the institution has 62 constituent campuses and over 1,080 affiliated colleges across the country.

Tribhuvan International Airport is an international airport located in Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal. It has a tabletop runway, a domestic terminal and an international terminal. As the country's main international airport, it connects Nepal to over 40 destinations in 17 countries. The airport is designed in a shape of an airplane when looked from above. The runway extending from the nose to the tail, with the terminal buildings aligned along the fuselage. The distinct shape is visible after takeoff, and while hovering.
The Magar language or Magar ḍhuṭ is a Sino-Tibetan language spoken mainly in Nepal, southern Bhutan, and in Darjeeling, Assam and Sikkim, India, by the Magar people. It is divided into two groups and further dialect divisions give distinct tribal identity. In Nepal 810,000 people speak the language. Despite Magars not having a state for its own country the Magar language is an additional official language in Gandaki Province, Nepal and the Indian state of Sikkim.
Nepalgunj, also spelled Nepalganj, is a Sub-Metropolitan City in Banke District, Nepal. It lies on the Terai plains near the southern border with Bahraich district in Uttar Pradesh, India. Nepalgunj is 153 kilometers south-west of Ghorahi and 16 km south of Kohalpur. Former Village Development Committee: Udayapur, Bhawaniyapur, Piprahawa, Jaispur, Paraspur, Indrapur, Khaskarkado, Bashudevpur, Manikapur and Puraina were added to territory in order to make it Sub metropolitan city on 2071 Paush 28 and later Puraini was also added in list on 2072 Paush 21. Further, while restructuring of local levels nationwide, ward no. 23 was taken out to Janaki Rural Municipality and ward no. 7 of Hirminiya VDC was added to Nepalgunj.
Butwal, officially Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City ,previously known as Khasyauli, is a sub-metropolitan city and economic hub in Lumbini Province in West Nepal. Butwal has a city population of 195,054 as per the 2021 AD Nepal census.

The Prime Minister Cup Men's National Cricket Tournament is a domestic cricket tournament in Nepal organised by the Cricket Association of Nepal. It was formerly administered by the National Sports Council while CAN was suspended. It was played amongst 8 teams in 2017 and has been played amongst 10 teams from 2018 onward.
The 2020 Prime Minister Cup was the fourth edition of the Prime Minister One Day Cup, the premier one-day cricket tournament in Nepal. The tournament was contested by teams representing the seven Provinces of Nepal as well as three departmental teams. It began on 15 January 2021 and ended on 30 January 2021. All matches of the tournament were broadcast live by DishHome's "Action Sports" channel. Nepal Police Club were the defending champions, but were eliminated at the semi-final stage by Armed Police Force Club. Tribhuwan Army Club won the title following a 33-run win over APF Club in the final.

The team plays limited overs and Twenty20 cricket in the Prime Minister One Day Cup. The team is currently being run under the Madhesh Province Cricket Association.
