The 2019 Women's Oceania Youth Handball Championship was held in New Caledonia from 11 to 16 August 2019. [1] [2]

Contents

The competition participants were host New Caledonia, Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, Papua New Guinea and Fiji. [3]

Hosts New Caledonia were the winners over New Zealand. Third was French Polynesia then Australia. Fifth was Papua New Guinea ahead of Fiji on goal difference [4]

The French Polynesia national junior handball team is the national men's junior handball team of French Polynesia. They won the Oceania Handball Challenge Trophy in Wellington at their first attempt.

The New Zealand Handball Federation (NZHF) is the governing body for the sport of handball and beach handball in New Zealand. NZHF is member of the Oceania Continent Handball Federation (OCHF), International Handball Federation (IHF) and the Commonwealth Handball Association.

The 2017 Men's Oceania Handball Challenge Trophy was held at the Bluesky Sports Arena, Rarotonga, Cook Islands in between 31 July and 6 August 2017.

The 2017 Junior Men's French Pacific Handball Championship was held in Bluesky Sports Arena, Rarotonga, Cook Islands on 3 August, 2017 during the 2017 Oceania Men's Handball Challenge Trophy.
