The 2019 Sun Belt Conference baseball tournament will be held at Springs Brooks Stadium on the campus of the Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, from May 21st to May 26th, 2019. The tournament will again use a double-elimination format. The winner of the tournament will earn the Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. [2]
In a change from previous years, the top ten teams (based on conference results) from the conference earn invites to the tournament. The teams will be seeded based on conference winning percentage, with the bottom four seeds competing in a play-in round. The remaining eight teams will then play a two bracket, double-elimination tournament. The winner of each bracket will play a championship final. [3]

The College World Series (CWS), officially the NCAA Men's College World Series (MCWS), is an annual baseball tournament held in June in Omaha, Nebraska. The MCWS is the culmination of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Baseball Championship tournament—featuring 64 teams in the first round—which determines the NCAA Division I college baseball champion. The eight participating teams are split into two, four-team, double-elimination brackets, with the winners of each bracket playing in a best-of-three championship series.
The Southeastern Conference baseball tournament is the conference tournament in baseball for the Southeastern Conference (SEC). It is a partially double-elimination tournament and seeding is based on regular season conference records. The winner receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I baseball tournament. The SEC Tournament champion is separate from the conference champion. The 2013 Sun Belt Conference baseball tournament was held at M. L. Tigue Moore Field on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana, from May 22nd to May 26th, 2013. The tournament returned to the double-elimination format used prior to the two year experiment with pool play in 2011 and 2012. Florida Atlantic won their first tournament championship and earned the Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. Florida Atlantic joined the conference in 2006, and left for Conference USA after the 2013 season.
The 2014 Sun Belt Conference baseball tournament was held at Eddie Stanky Field on the campus of the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama from May 21 to May 25, 2014. The tournament used a double-elimination format. Louisiana–Lafayette won the tournament, earning the Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. The league was expected to divide into two six team divisions for 2014, but due to the departures of three baseball playing schools the plan was shelved, possibly to be implemented in 2015 with the additions of Appalachian State and Georgia Southern.
The 2014 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference baseball tournament began on May 14 and ended on May 19 at Marty L. Miller Field, on the campus of Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia. It was an eight-team double elimination tournament. Bethune-Cookman won their fourteenth tournament championship to claim the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. Bethune-Cookman has claimed fourteen of the sixteen tournament championships, with Savannah State winning in 2013 and North Carolina A&T earning the 2005 title.

The University of Connecticut won and received the conference's automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.

Anticipated weather forced a truncated schedule causing the event to be condensed, and the title game was played on May 25. The event, held at the end of the conference regular season, determines the champion of the American Athletic Conference for the 2018 season. East Carolina won the double-elimination tournament and received the conference's automatic bid to the 2018 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.
