The 2019 Supercar Challenge powered by Hankook was the nineteenth Supercar Challenge season since it replaced the Supercar Cup in 2001. It began at Magny-Cours on April 19 and ended at TT Circuit Assen on October 20.

Klaus Abbelen is a German race car driver.
The TT Circuit Assen is a motorsport race track built in 1955 and located in Assen, Netherlands. Host of the Dutch TT, it is popularly referred to as "The Cathedral" of motorcycling by the fans of the sport. The venue has the distinction of holding the most Grand Prix motorcycle races every year since the series was created in 1949. It has a capacity of 110,000 spectators, including 60,000 seats. Since 1992, the circuit has also been part of the World SBK calendar except the 2020 season.
Shane Robert van Gisbergen is a New Zealand racing driver in the Supercars Championship racing in the Number 97 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 car for Triple Eight Race Engineering. With three Supercars Championship wins, 75 wins and 40 pole positions, Van Gisbergen is the fourth most successful racing driver in the Supercars Championship history. He has won the Bathurst 1000 twice in 2020 and 2022, both times alongside Garth Tander.
The Benelux Racing League V6, better known as BRL V6, was a touring car racing series held in The Netherlands and Belgium between 2004 and 2009. It is the heavier variant on the BRL Light. For 2010, BRL cars were allowed into the Dutch Supercar Challenge.
Forze is a hydrogen electric vehicle racing team. It is run by students and was founded at the Delft University of Technology in 2007 by Edgar van Os and has built 8 hydrogen fuel cell racing vehicles. The team's offices and workshops are located at the Schiehal in Delft. In 2007, the team began designing and building go-karts with a hydrogen-electric drivetrain. With these vehicles they participated in the Formula Zero competition, hence the name ForZe. After five years the first full-size hydrogen race car was built, the Forze VI. Another three years later the project of the Forze VII began. This became the first hydrogen-electric racecar to ever participate in an official race against fossil-fueled vehicles. The latest iteration, the Forze VIII, was the first hydrogen-electric race car to ever beat petrol powered cars, and came in 2nd place at the Gamma Racing Days in Assen in 2019. Over the coming years the team wants to develop its cars in such a way that they can compete in a Le Mans Prototype endurance series.

The 2015 Supercar Challenge powered by Pirelli was the fifteenth Supercar Challenge season since it replaced the Supercar Cup in 2001. It began at Circuit Park Zandvoort on April 3 and ended at TT Circuit Assen on October 18. Roger Grouwels, Arjan van der Zwaan and Robert de Graaff entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champions in the highest class, the Super GT.

Gold Categorisation is a category within the FIA Drivers' Categorisation. The FIA Drivers' Categorisation is a system created by Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile that lists drivers on the basis of their achievements and performances. This categorization is used in sports car racing championships as FIA World Endurance Championship, WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, European Le Mans Series, etc. It was merged from the FIA WEC and FIA GT3 lists. The initial categorisation is based on the driver's age and their career record.
Barry Maessen is a Dutch racecar driver. Maessen is the son of BriSCA F1 racer, circuit developer and entrepreneur Harry Maessen. The Dutch driver will be the first Dutch racing driver in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series.
The 2016 Supercar Challenge powered by Pirelli was the sixteenth Supercar Challenge season since it replaced the Supercar Cup in 2001. It began at Circuit Zolder on April 16 and ended at TT Circuit Assen on October 23.
Matt Campbell is an Australian racing car driver, specialising in sports car racing. He is a Porsche factory driver, having formerly been a junior then young professional. He is one of three factory drivers whose driver categorisation is gold alongside Sven Müller and Mathieu Jaminet. Campbell is the reigning champion of the 2022 IMSA SportsCar Championship in the GTD Pro class and is now a full-time driver of the #7 Porsche 963 for Porsche Penske Motorsport. Campbell won the 2016 Porsche Carrera Cup Australia driving for McElrea Racing. Campbell moved to Germany in 2017 and was third in the 2017 Porsche Supercup. Campbell is currently driving for Dempsey-Proton Racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship in the LMGTE Am class driving a Porsche 911 RSR. He has taken three victories including at the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans. Campbell also won the 2019 Bathurst 12 Hour driving a Porsche 911 GT3 R for Earl Bamber Motorsport.
The Supercar Challenge is a motor racing series centered on the Benelux. A special feature is that touring cars, GTs and Sportscars can all participate on an equal basis within the same class, enabled by very open regulations. The championship was first held in 2001, after replacing the Supercar Cup. From 2001 to 2011 the championship was called the Dutch Supercar Challenge, but due to interest from drivers, teams and tracks outside the Netherlands the organisers decided to drop 'Dutch' from its name on 11 February 2012.
Côme Ledogar is a professional racing driver from France. He is best known for winning the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup overall title in 2016, with Robert Bell and Shane van Gisbergen, and for winning the 2021 24 Hours of Spa overall and the 2021 24 Hours of Le Mans in the GTE Pro class.
Sheldon van der Linde is a South African motor racing driver. He has been competing in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters since 2019 and is currently the DTM champion, after winning his maiden title in 2022.
The 2021 GT & Prototype Challenge powered by Hankook was the fifth season of the GT & Prototype Challenge. It began at the Hockenheimring on 21 May and ended at TT Circuit Assen on 31 October.
Matthew "Matt" Payne is a New Zealand racing driver from Auckland, New Zealand. He is currently competing in the Dunlop Super2 Series with Grove Racing, driving the No. 10 Nissan Altima L33. Payne is also inaugural inductee of the Grove Junior Team, a program to fast track young drivers into the Supercars Championship. In 2022 Payne will make his Bathurst 1000 debut driving alongside current Bathurst champion Lee Holdsworth in the Grove Racing Ford Mustang GT FN.
Marius Zug is a German racing driver who currently competes in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters and the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup.
