The 2019-20 Miami RedHawks men's ice hockey season was the 42nd season of play for the program and the 7th in the NCHC conference. The RedHawks represented Miami University and were coached by Chris Bergeron, in his 1st season.

Contents

On March 12, 2020, NCHC announced that the tournament was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, before any games were played. [1]

Miami RedHawks mens ice hockey

The Miami RedHawks men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio. The RedHawks are a member of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC), starting play in the conference's 2013–14 inaugural season. Prior to the NCHC, from 1980 to 2013, the RedHawks were a member of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) until the original CCHA disbanded in 2013. They play in Steve "Coach" Cady Arena at the Goggin Ice Center.

Riley Barber American professional ice hockey forward

Riley Barber is an American professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing for the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL). Barber was selected by the Washington Capitals in the sixth round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He is the son of former NHL player Don Barber.

The first ten regular season games were played in a "pod" in Omaha, Nebraska at Baxter Arena during the COVID-19 pandemic. North Dakota won its 4th Penrose Cup as regular season champions of the NCHC. UND won the NCHC tournament for the first time in program history.
