This was the first edition of the tournament, primarily organised due to the cancellation of many tournaments during the 2020 season, because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Alexei Popyrin defeated Alexander Bublik 4–6, 6–0, 6–2 to claim his first ATP Tour Men's Singles tennis title at the 2021 Singapore Open. The Singapore Tennis Open was a new addition to the ATP Tour in 2021

Hubert Hurkacz defeated Jannik Sinner in the final, 7–6^(7–4), 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2021 Miami Open. Hurkacz claimed his first Masters 1000 singles championship and became the first Pole to win a Masters 1000 singles title.

Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert defeated Alexander Bublik and Andrey Golubev in the final, 4–6, 7–6^(7–1), 6–4, to win the men's doubles title at the 2021 French Open. It was their second French Open title and fifth major title together. They saved match points in their semifinal match against Juan Sebastián Cabal and Robert Farah. Bublik and Golubev became the first male Kazakh players to reach a major final.

Jannik Sinner was the defending champion and successfully defended his title, defeating Gaël Monfils in the final, 6–3, 6–4.

Alexander Bublik defeated Alexander Zverev in the final, 6–4, 6–3 to win the singles title at the 2022 Open Sud de France. It was his maiden ATP Tour title.

Lorenzo Sonego defeated Alexander Bublik in the final, 7–6^(7–3), 6–2 to win the singles tennis title at the 2022 Moselle Open.

Richard Gasquet defeated Cameron Norrie in the final, 4–6, 6–4, 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2023 ASB Classic. It was his 16th ATP Tour singles title, and his first since 2018.

Benjamin Bonzi was the defending champion but chose not to defend his title.
