The 2021 Brown Bears football team represented Brown University in the 2021 NCAA Division I FCS football season as a member of the Ivy League. The team was led by second-year head coach James Perry and played its home games at Richard Gouse Field at Brown Stadium. Brown averaged 3,365 fans per game an 11.19% decrease from the previous season.
Quarterback E. J. Perry was awarded the Ivy League Bushnell Cup in December 2021. He was the fifth Brown player to receive the award since it began in 1970. [1] Perry is the nephew of coach James Perry, who received the Bushnell Cup in 1999. [1]

Richard Manuel Jauron is an American former professional football player and coach in the National Football League (NFL). He played eight seasons in the NFL as a safety, five with the Detroit Lions and three with the Cincinnati Bengals. Jauron served as the head coach the Chicago Bears from 1999 to 2003 and the Buffalo Bills from 2006 until November 2009. He was also the interim head coach for the Lions for the final five games of the 2005 season. Jauron was named the AP Coach of the Year in 2001 after leading the Bears to a 13–3 record.
Sean Joseph Morey is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Brown Bears. He was selected by the New England Patriots in the seventh round of the 1999 NFL Draft. Morey also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals. He won Super Bowl XL with the Steelers against the Seattle Seahawks.
The Bryant Bulldogs football program represents Bryant University in college football. As of the upcoming 2023 season, the Bulldogs are members of the Big South–OVC Football Association, a football-only alliance between the Big South Conference and Ohio Valley Conference that is part of the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). Brown women's hockey is the oldest women's hockey program in the United States. It was the first collegiate women's ice hockey program in the United States, started in 1964. The team was led from 1989 to 2011 by Head Coach Digit Murphy, who became the winningest coach in Division I women's ice hockey history during her 18th season at Brown (2006–2007).

Mark Raymond "Buddy" Farnham is a former American football wide receiver. He was signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He played college football at Brown University, and was a three-time first-team All-Ivy League selection and 2009 co-Ivy League Football Player of the Year.
Jeffrey Kyle Mathews is a former American football quarterback who played four seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Cornell, where he was ranked among the top 20 quarterbacks in passing yardage in Division I FCS history. He surpassed the Cornell record for total passing yards by more than 2,000 yards and ended his collegiate career as the holder of 47 Cornell and 18 Ivy League conference records. After going undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, Mathews spent the summer with the Atlanta Falcons, and was a practice squad member of the Indianapolis Colts and the Arizona Cardinals. He moved north to the CFL, playing two seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and a season each with the Toronto Argonauts and the Montreal Alouettes.
