On the Auction of the Nepal Super League(NSL), Butwal Lumbini F.C. bought several players including Seshang Angdangbe, Rabin Shrestha, Amir Shrestha, etc. [3]
On 3 April, Butwal Lumbini F.C. announced the signing of three overseas player. The players are Kareen Omoloja, William Opoku, and Armad Beadum. [4]

Biraj Maharjan is a professional footballer from Nepal. He made his first appearance for the Nepal national football team in 2008.
ANFA Complex is a football stadium and training facility and hosts the headquarters of All Nepal Football Association in Lalitpur, Nepal built in 1999 by All Nepal Football Association. It consists of ANFA House, an ANFA Academy, a hostel, and a football ground.

The 2018–19 Martyr's Memorial A-Division League season, also known as Pulsar Martyr's Memorial A-Division League for sponsorship reasons, was the 42nd edition of the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League since its establishment in 1954-55. A total of 16 teams competed in the league. The season began on 29 September 2018 and concluded on 8 January 2019. It was the first top-division league held in the country since the 2015 National League due to aftermath of the 2015 Nepal earthquake. On 16 September 2018, it was decided that there will be no relegation, however the two bottom-placed teams would have two and one points deducted, respectively, in the following season.

Jhapa FC represented Jhapa, Sporting Ilam De Mechi FC Ilam, and Birgunj United FC Birgunj. One of the founding members, Biratnagar City, decided to withdraw from the tournament, resulting in only nine teams participating in this edition. Lalitpur City FC became the champions of the second edition of this Nepal Super League. The losing finalist once again were Dhangadhi FC.
