The European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships are an annual series of artistic gymnastics championships for male gymnasts from European countries organised by the European Union of Gymnastics. They take place in two biennial formats; in even years they take place in tandem with a junior men's competition, and historically have included a team event, but not an individual all-around. In odd years, they are held in tandem with the European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships, and include a team competition. These events are sometimes called the European Individual Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Despite the alternating formats, all winners are considered European champions with one medal table.

Marie Skammelsen is a retired Danish artistic gymnast. A Danish national team member since 2010, joining at an unprecedented age of nine, she has amassed several medals at the Northern European Gymnastics Championships as a junior, including her all-around title at the 2016 event. In June 2016, she made a fourth place finish in the vault final at the 2016 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Bern, Switzerland.
The 2019 Junior World Artistic Gymnastics Championships were the inaugural Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships. They were held in Győr, Hungary from 27 June to 30 June 2019.
The FIG Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships, or FIG World Junior Artistic Gymnastics Championships, is an artistic gymnastics competition organized by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG). The inaugural edition was held in Győr, Hungary in June 2019. Subsequent championships are then to be held biannually in odd numbered years from 2021 onward. The 2021 edition was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The second iteration of the championships took place in 2023.

She is the 2019 European Games floor exercise bronze medalist and the 2018 Swedish national champion. She is currently competing in collegiate gymnastics at the University of Arizona.

The 2021 Pan American Gymnastics Championships was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in June 2021. Three gymnastics disciplines were contested: artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampoline. The event was originally to be held in the United States but was changed due to concerns around the COVID-19 pandemic. The event serves as qualification to the 2020 Olympic Games.

He is a three-time Norwegian junior champion (2020-2022) and has represented Norway at the 2019 and 2022 Nordic Championships, as well as the 2022 European Olympic Youth Festival and European Championships. He is the 2022 silver medalist in the junior European vault final.
The 2023 Junior World Artistic Gymnastics Championships was the second iteration of the Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships. They were held in Antalya, Turkey from 29 March to 2 April 2023.
