The 2021 T1 League draft was the first edition of the T1 League's annual draft. It was held online on July 28, 2021 originally and broadcast on YouTube, Facebook, and Line Today. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Taiwan, the draft was postponed to August 9. [2] [3] There were six teams joined the draft, including the Kaohsiung Aquas, New Taipei CTBC DEA, Taichung Suns, [lower-alpha 1] Tainan team, [lower-alpha 2] Taiwan Beer, [lower-alpha 3] and the Taoyuan Leopards. There were 58 players participated in the draft, and 17 players were chosen in 5 rounds. [9]

Draft combine

The T1 League invited all entrants and free agents to join the draft combine. [11] [12] The draft combine was held on July 26, 2021 originally. The draft combine was postponed to August 2 and held at National Taiwan University of Sport. There were 65 players participated in the draft combine. [3] [1]

The New Taipei CTBC DEA are a Taiwanese professional basketball team based in New Taipei City. They have competed in the T1 League since the 2021–22 season, and play their home games at the Xinzhuang Gymnasium. The DEA became one of the six teams of the inaugural T1 League season.

The 2021–22 Tainan TSG GhostHawks season was the franchise's 1st season in the T1 League. The GhostHawks were coached by Wu Chih-Wei in his first year as their head coach, with Chien Wei-Cheng as their general manager. On April 1, 2022, the GhostHawks named Wu Chih-Wei as their team director, and Liu Meng-Chu, the consultant of the Tainan TSG GhostHawks, as their interim head coach.

The regular season started on November 27, 2021 and ended on May 20, 2022. The play-in series was played on May 22. The semifinals series started on May 24 and ended on May 28. The finals series started on May 31 and ended on June 4. On June 4, the Kaohsiung Aquas defeated the Taichung Wagor Suns, 3–0, winning the 2021–22 season championship.

The Taichung Dreamers Academy is a Taiwanese basketball team based in Taichung, Taiwan. The team is composed of amateur and student players. They competed in various basketball tournaments.

The 2022 P. League+ draft, the second edition of the draft, is scheduled to be held on July 28, 2022, at Taipei New Horizon.

The 2022 T1 League draft was the second edition of the T1 League's annual draft. It was held on July 12, 2022, at Syntrend Creative Park in Taipei City. There were six teams joined the draft, including the Kaohsiung Aquas, New Taipei CTBC DEA, Taichung Wagor Suns, Tainan TSG GhostHawks, TaiwanBeer HeroBears, and the Taoyuan Leopards. There were 44 players participated in the draft, and 14 players were chosen in 3 rounds.

The 2022–23 Tainan TSG GhostHawks season was the franchise's 2nd season in the T1 League. The GhostHawks were with Chien Wei-Cheng as their general manager. On July 6, 2022, the GhostHawks promoted Liu Meng-Chu, the interim head coach of the Tainan TSG GhostHawks, as their new head coach. On March 3, 2023, the GhostHawks named Ma I-Hung, the assistant coach of the Tainan TSG GhostHawks, as their interim head coach for one game since Liu Meng-Chu coached UCH basketball team for University Basketball Association (UBA) 2022–23 season quarterfinals series. On March 24, the GhostHawks named Ma I-Hung as their interim head coach for one game since Liu Meng-Chu coached UCH basketball team for UBA 2022–23 season semifinals series.

The 2022–23 T1 League season was the second season of the T1 League, with the Kaohsiung Aquas, New Taipei CTBC DEA, Taichung Suns, Tainan TSG GhostHawks, TaiwanBeer HeroBears, and the Taoyuan Leopards participating in this competition. The regular season started on October 29, 2022 and ended on April 23, 2023. The All-Star Game was played on February 28. The play-in series started on April 25 and ended on April 27. The semifinals series started on April 28 and ended on May 8. The finals series started on May 13 and ended on May 21. On May 21, the New Taipei CTBC DEA defeated the Tainan TSG GhostHawks, 4–0, winning the 2022–23 season championship.

The 2024 PLG draft, the fourth edition of the P. League+'s annual draft, is a suspended event which was originally scheduled on July 10, 2024.

The 2024 T1 League draft was the fourth edition of the T1 League's annual draft. It was originally scheduled to hold on July 11, 2024, in Taipei City. There were five teams joined the draft, including the Kaohsiung Aquas, New Taipei CTBC DEA, Tainan TSG GhostHawks, Taipei Taishin Mars, and the Taiwan Beer Leopards. On July 1, the new league preparation committee announced that P. League+ and T1 League would jointly hold the united draft on July 15.
