The 2021 season for Team TotalEnergies was the 22nd season in the team's existence and the 12th as a UCI ProTeam. [1]

Contents

On 16 June, ahead of the Tour de France, the team announced a rebranding from Total Direct Énergie to Team TotalEnergies, with a corresponding change of kit. [2] [3]

The 2013 Critérium du Dauphiné was the sixty-fifth running of the Critérium du Dauphiné cycling stage race; a race, organised by the Amaury Sport Organisation, rated as a World Tour event on the UCI calendar, the highest classification such an event can have. The race consisted of eight stages, beginning in Champéry on 2 June – the first such start for the race in Switzerland – and concluding in Risoul on 9 June, and was the sixteenth race of the 2013 UCI World Tour season. The Dauphiné was viewed as a great preparation for July's Tour de France and a number of the contenders for the general classification of the Tour participated in the Dauphiné. It featured mountainous stages as well as an individual time trial similar in length to the Tour.

The 2017 season for the AG2R La Mondiale cycling team began in January at the Tour Down Under. As a UCI WorldTeam, they were automatically invited and obligated to send a squad to every event in the UCI World Tour.

The 2021 season for Team Qhubeka NextHash was its sixth season as a UCI WorldTeam and its 15th overall. After last year's title sponsor, Japanese telecommunications company NTT, decided not to renew their contract with the team, South African bicycle charity organization Qhubeka, a former title sponsor, and Swiss clothing brand Assos stepped up to sponsor the team for two seasons. However, before the new sponsors were announced, the sponsorship crisis led to many riders seeking contracts with teams elsewhere, resulting in the departure of 19 of the 29 riders on the team last season.

The 2021 season for Intermarché–Wanty–Gobert Matériaux was the 14th season in the team's existence. After starting out as a UCI Continental team and spending most of its existence as a UCI Professional Continental team/UCI ProTeam, the team was promoted to a UCI WorldTeam, taking over the WorldTeam license of the disbanded CCC Team. In addition, French supermarket brand Intermarché joined Belgian engineering companies Wanty and Groupe Gobert as co-title sponsors.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2021 AG2R Citroën Team season</span> Cycling team season

The 2021 season for the AG2R Citroën Team was the 30th season in the team's existence and the 16th consecutive season that it was a UCI WorldTeam. French automobile manufacturer Citroën joined as a title sponsor, alongside longtime title sponsor AG2R La Mondiale, a French insurance firm.

The 2021 season for the Cofidis road cycling team was its 25th season overall and the second consecutive year as a UCI WorldTeam.

The 2021 season for Delko was the 47th season in the team's existence, the sixth as a UCI ProTeam, and the first under the current name. Japanese construction company Nippo Corporation, which had been a co-title sponsor last season, left the team to sponsor UCI WorldTeam EF Education–Nippo instead.
