The All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen is an Indian political party based primarily in the old city of Hyderabad. It is also a significant political party in the Indian States of Telangana and Maharashtra. It is the second largest party in Telangana Legislative Assembly and in Telangana Legislative Council. Its aim is to promote the social, economical, and educational development and effective representation of Indian Muslims and Dalits.
Durga Puja, also known as Durgotsava or Sharodotsava, is an annual Hindu festival originating in the Indian subcontinent which reveres and pays homage to the Hindu goddess Durga and is also celebrated because of Durga's victory over Mahishasur. The festival is also marked by scripture recitations, performance arts, revelry, gift-giving, family visits, feasting, and public processions. Durga Puja is an important festival in the Shaktism tradition of Hinduism. Durga Puja in Kolkata has been inscribed on the Intangible cultural heritage list of UNESCO in December of 2021.

Dinanath Bhaskar is an Indian politician active in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Once a close associate of Kanshi Ram, he was a founding member of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and was Minister for Health during the state's coalition government of the Samajwadi Party (SP) and BSP in 1993. He quit the BSP to join the SP in 1996, rejoined the BSP around 2009 and in 2015 joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

He is also an engineer who graduated from National Institute of Technology. He is the only IAS officer in India to win a Paralympic medal and an Arjuna Award.
Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia), earlier known as Samajwadi Secular Morcha, was a political party formed by former cabinet minister of Uttar Pradesh Shivpal Singh Yadav after leaving the Samajwadi Party on 29 August 2018. Stating that he has decided to form the Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) to retain socialist values. In the Present scenario the Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party is a registered political party by the Election Commission. The camp office is located in Lucknow, capital city of Uttar Pradesh. The permanent office is situated in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.
Legislative Assembly elections were held in Uttar Pradesh from 10 February to 7 March 2022 in seven phases to elect all 403 members for the 18th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. The votes were counted and the results were declared on 10 March 2022.

Rani Saroj Kumari Gaurihar was an Indian writer, politician and freedom fighter. She hailed from the former princely state of Gaurihar. She served as a Member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing Chandla Assembly constituency from 1967 to 1972. She participated in India's movement of freedom struggle and was jailed once during the freedom movement. She died on 28 August 2022, at the age of 93. She was the last Rajmata and last queen of Gaurihar State. Her notable works include Anand Chhalia and Mandvi Ek Vismrita, both poetry collections.

Usha Sirohi is an Indian politician from Bharatiya Janata Party who served as Member of 17th Uttar Pradesh Assembly from Bulandshahr Assembly constituency. She is the widow of Virendra Singh Sirohi. She married him on 7 June 1971. In 2020 by-poll election, she received 86,879 votes and defeated Mohammad Yunus, with a margin of 21,702 votes.
