The 2022 Giro di Sicilia (known as Il Giro di Sicilia EOLO for sponsorship reasons) was the 26th edition of the Giro di Sicilia road cycling stage race and the third edition since its revival in 2019. [1]
Three of the 19 UCI WorldTeams, four UCI ProTeams, eleven UCI Continental teams and one national team made up the 19 teams that participated in the race. [2] Trek–Segafredo, EF Education–Nippo Development Team, Zalf Euromobil Fior and Bardiani–CSF–Faizanè, with six riders each, were the only teams to not enter a full squad of seven riders. 129 riders started the race, of which 91 finished. VF Group–Bardiani–CSF–Faizanè is a UCI ProTeam cycling team registered in Italy that participates in UCI Continental Circuits races and when selected as a wildcard to UCI World Tour events. The team is managed by Bruno Reverberi with assistance from directeurs sportifs Fabiano Fontanelli and Roberto Reverberi. Reverberi has managed the team since 1982, when it started as Termolan. Navigare was an on-and-off title sponsor since 1990, when the team was called Italbonifica-Navigare. The current main sponsor, Bardiani Valvole, became associated with the team in 2013, prior to which CSF Group (2008–12) and Ceramica Panaria (2000–2007) were main sponsors.

Giro di Sicilia is a men's multi-stage bicycle race held on Sicily, Italy. The race was first held in 1907 and was won by Carlo Galetti. The race disappeared from the calendar after the 1977 edition won by Giuseppe Saronni, until it was revived by RCS Sports in 2019. The first edition of the revived race was won by American rider Brandon McNulty. It is part of the UCI Europe Tour, classified as a 2.1 event.
