2022 South American Trampoline Championships

The 2022 South American Trampoline Championships were held in Bucaramanga, Colombia, from September 5 to 12, 2022. [1] The competition was organized by the Colombian Gymnastics Federation and approved by the International Gymnastics Federation. [2]

Colombia competed at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada from 10 July to 26 July 2015.

The Pan American Gymnastics Union organizes Pan American Gymnastics Championships in different disciplines of gymnastics: men's and women's artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, acrobatic gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling, as well as aerobic gymnastics. This was the 12th edition of the South American Artistic Gymnastics Championships for senior gymnasts. The competition was initially scheduled for August, and was approved by the International Gymnastics Federation.

Rut Castillo Galindo is a Mexican individual rhythmic gymnast. She represented Mexico at the 2020 Summer Olympics and became the first Mexican, and LGBTQ+ rhythmic gymnast to compete at an Olympic Games. She is the 2021 Pan American all-around champion. At the 2007 Pan American Games, she won the silver medal in hoop and the bronze medals in the all-around and clubs. She is an eight-time Central American and Caribbean Games champion. She has also competed at nine World Championships.
