The group consisted of four teams: Cameroon, Kenya, Namibia and Burundi. However, on 23 May 2022, CAF announced that Kenya was disqualified from the qualifiers due to the suspension of the Football Kenya Federation by FIFA. [1] [2]
The teams played against each other in a home-and-away round-robin format between 4 June 2022 and 12 September 2023. [3]
