The 2023 Campeonato Catarinense (officially the Catarinense Fort Atacadista 2023 for sponsorship reasons) [1] is the 98th season of Santa Catarina's top-flight football league organized by FCF. The season began on 14 January and ended on 8 April 2023.
The finals were played between Criciúma and the defending champions Brusque. Criciúma won 2–0 on aggregate and clinched their 11th title. [2]
The tournament was contested between 12 teams, who first played in a single round-robin tournament. In the first stage, the bottom two teams were relegated to the 2024 Série B. The final stage was played on a home-and-away two-legged basis. [3] Champions and runners-up qualified for the 2024 Copa do Brasil, while three teams qualified for the 2024 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D. [4]

Criciúma Esporte Clube, commonly referred to as Criciúma, is a Brazilian professional club based in Criciúma, Santa Catarina founded on 13 May 1947.
The 2008 Recopa Sul-Brasileira was the 2nd staging of this Brazilian football knockout competition. All matches of the competition were played at Estádio Augusto Bauer, Brusque, Santa Catarina. Four clubs participated of the competition: Pelotas, of Rio Grande do Sul, Londrina of Paraná, Atlético Sorocaba of São Paulo, and Brusque of Santa Catarina.
The 2015 Copa do Brasil Third Round will be played from 20 May to 22 July 2015 to decide the 10 teams advancing to the knockout rounds. Different than the first two rounds, in this round the away team that wins the first match by 2 or more goals do not progress straight to the next round avoiding the second leg. The order of the matches was determined by a random draw. This phase had a pause during the 2015 Copa América.
