The 2023 Cavalry FC season was the fifth season in the history of Cavalry FC. In addition to the Canadian Premier League, the club competed in the Canadian Championship.
Cavalry FC won the 2023 CPL Shield, and qualified for the 2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup, but lost the 2023 CPL final against Forge FC.

The CPL–U Sports Draft is an annual event in which Canadian Premier League clubs select players from U Sports, Canada's governing body for university sports. The draft allows student-athletes to play professional soccer that year without affecting their university eligibility.
The 2019 Forge FC season was the first season in the club's history, as well as first season in Canadian Premier League history. On April 27, 2019, Forge FC hosted York9 FC in the inaugural CPL match at Tim Hortons Field. During the season, Forge also participated in the Canadian Championship, CONCACAF League, and the Canadian Premier League Finals.
