The 2023 Cork Premier Senior Football Championship was the fourth staging of the Cork Premier Senior Football Championship and the 135th staging overall of a championship for the top-ranking Gaelic football teams in Cork. The draw for the group stage placings took place on 11 December 2022. [1] The championship ran from 8 June to 29 October 2023.

Contents

Nemo Rangers entered the championship as the defending champions. [2] Carrigaline's relegation ended eight years of top flight football for the club. [3]

The final was played on 29 October 2023 at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork, between Nemo Rangers and Castlehaven, in what was their fourth ever meeting in the final overall and a first meeting in three years. Castlehaven won the match by 0-11 to 0-09 to claim their sixth championship title overall and a first title in ten years. [4]

Steven Sherlock was the championship's top scorer with 2-24.

The 2020 Cork Premier Senior Football Championship was the inaugural staging of the Cork Premier Senior Football Championship and the 132nd staging overall of a championship for the top-ranking Gaelic football teams in Cork. The draw for the group stage placings took place on 19 November 2019. The championship was scheduled to begin in April 2020, however, it was postponed indefinitely due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Gaelic games. The championship eventually began on 24 July 2020 and, after being suspended once again on 5 October 2020, and eventually ended on 29 August 2021.

The 2021 Cork Premier Senior Football Championship was the second staging of the Cork Premier Senior Football Championship and the 133rd staging overall of a championship for the top-ranking Gaelic football teams in Cork. The draw for the group stage placings took place on 29 April 2021. The championship began on 20 July 2021 and ended on 28 November 2021.

The 2022 Cork Premier Senior Football Championship was the third staging of the Cork Premier Senior Football Championship and the 134th staging overall of a championship for the top-ranking Gaelic football teams in Cork. The championship ran from 9 June to 30 October 2022.

The 2024 Cork Premier Senior Football Championship is the fifth staging of the Cork Premier Senior Football Championship and the 136th staging overall of a championship for the top-ranking Gaelic football teams in Cork. The draw for the group stage placings took place on 14 December 2023. The championship is scheduled to run from 13 June to October 2024.
