The 2023 Fairleigh Dickinson Knights men's volleyball team, the second Fairleigh Dickinson men's volleyball team, [1] [2] represents Fairleigh Dickinson University in the 2023 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Northeast Conference (NEC) is a collegiate athletic conference whose schools are members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Teams in the NEC compete in Division I for all sports; football competes in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). Participating schools are located principally in the Northeastern United States, from which the conference derives its name.
The 2015 BYU Cougars men's volleyball team represented Brigham Young University in the 2015 NCAA Division I men's volleyball season. The Cougars, led by fourth year head coach Chris McGown, played their home games at Smith Fieldhouse. The Cougars were members of the MPSF and were picked to finish sixth in the preseason poll. The Cougars finished the season 14–8 in conference play, good for fifth in the conference. They were eliminated in the first round of the MPSF Playoffs and did not make the NCAA Tournament.

The Cougars, led by sixth year head coach Shawn Olmstead, play their home games at Smith Fieldhouse. The Cougars are members of the MPSF and were picked to win the MPSF in the preseason poll. After finishing last season ranked #1 the Cougars enter the 2021 season with the #1 ranking.
The 2021 Pepperdine Waves men's volleyball team represented Pepperdine University in the 2021 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Waves, led by fourth year head coach David Junt, play their home games at Firestone Fieldhouse. The Waves are members of the MPSF and were picked to finish second in the preseason poll.
The 2022 LIU Sharks men's volleyball team, the first ever LIU men's volleyball team, represented Long Island University Brooklyn in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Sharks, led by first year head coach Shawn Patchell, played their home games at Steinberg Wellness Center. The Sharks competed as an Independent. However the Sharks will join the newly created Northeast Conference men's volleyball conference in 2023. After a slow start LIU won 9 of their final 10 games to finish a respectable 13–15.
The 2022 Independent Volleyball Association Tournament was a men's volleyball tournament held by select Independent Universities during the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. It was held April 22 through April 23, 2022 at Queens University of Charlotte's Curry Arena at the Levine Center. The winner was eligible for one of the two wildcard spots in the 2022 NCAA Volleyball Tournament and was granted the title of Independent Volleyball Association Champion.
The 2022–23 Northeast Conference men's basketball season began with practices in October 2022, followed by the start of the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Conference play started in the last week of December and ended in March 2023.
The 2022–23 St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers men's basketball team represented St. Francis College in the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Terriers, led by 13th-year head coach Glenn Braica, opened the season as members of the Northeast Conference, playing their final two home games at Daniel Lynch Gymnasium in Brooklyn Heights, New York. On November 30, 2022, the Terriers temporarily began playing their home games at the Pratt Activity Resource Center, frequently called the Pratt ARC, on the main Brooklyn campus of Pratt Institute, due to St. Francis College's move to its new campus on Livingston Street.

They were picked to finish seventh in the conference preseason poll.
The 2023 D'Youville Saints men's volleyball team represents D'Youville University in the 2023 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Saints are led by fourth year head coach Chris Krueger and play their home games at College Center Gymnasium. The Saints compete as a member of the newly created Northeast Conference men's volleyball conference and were picked to finish eighth in the NEC.

The 2023 Northeast Conference Men's Basketball Tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Northeast Conference for the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The tournament took place on three dates between March 1 and 7, 2023, and all tournament games were played in the home arenas of the higher-seeded school. The winner, Merrimack, did not receive the conference's automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament due to not being eligible because of a transition from Division II. Instead, the runner-up, Fairleigh Dickinson, was awarded the conference's automatic bid by winning the seminfinal game over Saint Francis (PA).
