Belinda Bencic defeated Taylor Townsend in the final, 4–6, 6–1, 6–4 to win the girls' singles title at the 2013 Wimbledon Championships.
The 2014 Toray Pan Pacific Open was a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 31st edition of the Toray Pan Pacific Open, and part of the Premier Series of the 2014 WTA Tour. It took place at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan, on 15–21 September 2014. Ana Ivanovic won the singles title.

Novak Djokovic defeated Borna Ćorić in the final, 6–3, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2018 Shanghai Masters. It was his record fourth Shanghai Masters title, and 32nd Masters 1000 title overall. He did not lose a single set and did not have his serve broken throughout the entire tournament.
Ashleigh Barty defeated Karolína Plíšková in the final, 7–6(7–1), 6–3 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2019 Miami Open. It was Barty's first WTA Premier Mandatory title. She entered the top 10 in the WTA rankings for the first time with the win.

Victoria Azarenka won the women's singles tennis title at the 2020 Cincinnati Masters via walkover, after Naomi Osaka withdrew from the final with a hamstring injury. It was Azarenka's first singles title since the 2016 Miami Open, and her first since giving birth to her son Leo in December 2016.
Daria Kasatkina defeated Shelby Rogers in the final, 6–7(2–7), 6–1, 6–2 to win the singles tennis title at the 2022 Silicon Valley Classic. With the win, Kasatkina re-entered the world's Top 10 in rankings for the first time since 2019, reaching a new career high of No. 9.

Defending champions Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková defeated Shuko Aoyama and Ena Shibahara in the final, 6–4, 6–3 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2023 Australian Open. It was their second Australian Open title and seventh major title together, and they extended their winning streak at the majors to 24 matches with the win, dating back to the 2022 Australian Open.
Ons Jabeur defeated the defending champion Belinda Bencic in a rematch of the previous year's final, 7–6(8–6), 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2023 Charleston Open. Jabeur did not drop a set en route to her fourth career singles title and first of the season.
