The Conference Carolinas membership currently consists of 15 small colleges or universities, 13 private and two public.

The 2021 Conference Carolinas men's volleyball tournament is the men's volleyball tournament for Conference Carolinas during the 2021 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. It will be held April 8 through April 18, 2021. First Round and Quarterfinal matches will be held at campus sites while the semifinals and championship will be held at Student Center Complex in Bristol, Tennessee. The winner receives the conference's automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Volleyball Tournament.

The 2022 Mount Olive Trojans men's volleyball team represented Mount Olive College in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Trojans, led by third year head coach Ali'i Keohohou, were picked to win the Conference Carolinas title in the coaches preseason poll, and they will host the 2022 Conference Carolinas men's volleyball tournament.

The 2022 Fort Valley State Wildcats men's volleyball team, the first ever Fort Valley State men's volleyball team, represents Fort Valley State University in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Wildcats, led by first year head coach Larry Wrather, play their home games at HPE Arena. The Wildcats compete as members of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

The 2022 Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters men's volleyball team represented Lincoln Memorial University in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Railsplitters, led by fifth year head coach John Cash, played their home games at Mary Mars Gymnasium. The Railsplitters competed as an Independent.

The 2022 Lewis Flyers men's volleyball team represented Lewis University in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Flyers, led by eighteenth year head coach Dan Friend, played their home games at Neil Carey Arena. The Flyers were members of the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association and were picked to finish second the MIVA in the preseason poll behind Loyola Chicago. The Flyers ended the season fourth in the MIVA, holding a 2–0 record against Ohio State as the tiebreaker, and lost in the MIVA Semifinals.

The 2022 Loyola Ramblers men's volleyball team represented Loyola University Chicago in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Ramblers, led by 7th year head coach Mark Hulse, played their home games at Joseph J. Gentile Arena. The Cardinals were members of the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association and were picked to win the conference title in the MIVA in the preseason poll.

The Sharks, led by first year head coach Kai Dugquem, played their home games at Steinberg Wellness Center. The Sharks competed as a member of the newly created Northeast Conference men's volleyball conference. After winning most of their games at the end of last season, the Sharks were picked to finish third in the NEC.

The 2023 Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors volleyball team represented the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UH) in the 2023 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Rainbow Warriors, led by 14th-year head coach Charlie Wade, played home games at Stan Sheriff Center on the UH campus in the Honolulu neighborhood of Mānoa. The Rainbow Warriors, members of the Big West Conference, were picked by Big West coaches to win the conference in its preseason poll with Long Beach State. The Rainbow Warriors enter the season as the two-time defending national champions after defeating Long Beach State in the 2022 national championship game. The national championship was Hawai'i's second men's volleyball national championship after they had to vacate the 2002 national championship.
