The 2023 Morehouse Maroon Tigers volleyball team, the second ever Morehouse volleyball team [1] represents Morehouse College in the 2023 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Maroon Tigers, led by first year head coach Ashley Johnson, [2] play their home games at Forbes Arena. The Maroon Tigers compete as members of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) is a college athletic conference affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division II level. Formed in 1913, it consists mostly of historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), with all but one member located in the Southern United States.
Stillman College is a private historically black Presbyterian college in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. It awards Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in 22 programs housed within three academic schools. The college has an average enrollment of 728 students and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Benedict College is a private historically black college in Columbia, South Carolina. Founded in 1870 by northern Baptists, it was originally a teachers' college. Edward Waters University is a private Christian historically Black university in Jacksonville, Florida. It was founded in 1866 by members of the African Methodist Episcopal Church as a school to educate freedmen and their children. It was the first independent institution of higher education and the first historically black college in the State of Florida. It continues to be affiliated with the AME Church and is a member of the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida.

The 2022 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors volleyball team represents the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UH) in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Rainbow Warriors, led by 13th-year head coach Charlie Wade, play home games at Stan Sheriff Center on the UH campus in the Honolulu neighborhood of Mānoa. The Rainbow Warriors, members of the Big West Conference, were picked by Big West coaches to share the conference in its preseason poll with Long Beach State. The Rainbow Warriors enter the season the defending national champions after defeating BYU in the 2021 national championship. The national championship was Hawai'i's first men's volleyball national championship after they had to vacate the 2002 national championship.
The 2022 Grand Canyon Antelopes men's volleyball team represented Grand Canyon University in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The 'Lopes, led by seventh year head coach Matt Werle, played their home games at GCU Arena. The 'Lopes were members of the MPSF and were picked to finish fourth in the MPSF preseason poll. The Lopes finished fourth in the MPSF but fell in the 1st Round of the MPSF Tournament to Stanford.
The 2022 Fort Valley State Wildcats men's volleyball team, the first ever Fort Valley State men's volleyball team, represents Fort Valley State University in the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. The Wildcats, led by first year head coach Larry Wrather, play their home games at HPE Arena. The Wildcats compete as members of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
The 2022 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's volleyball tournament, the inaugural men's volleyball SIAC tournament, was a men's volleyball tournament for the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference during the 2022 NCAA Division I & II men's volleyball season. It was held April 19 through April 21, 2022 at Rock Hill Sport & Event Center. The winner was eligible for one of the two Wild Cards in the 2022 NCAA Volleyball Tournament, but they weren't selected. The conference champion won't get an automatic bid until the 2024 season.

They were picked to finish seventh in the conference preseason poll.
