The 2023 PSSI U-20 Mini Tournament (Indonesian : Turnamen Mini U-20 PSSI 2023) is a football tournament organized by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) as part of the Indonesia U20 national team preparations for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup which, at the time of this tournament taken place, would be held in Indonesia (lately they lost the rights of hosts). This tournament was held on 17–21 February 2023 and was attended by 4 countries that managed to qualify for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup finals including Indonesia. [2] [3]

The tournament itself was held at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium after previously there was talk that it would be held at Patriot Chandrabhaga Stadium. [2]

The association football tournament at the 2011 Southeast Asian Games took place from 3 to 21 November 2011. This edition of the tournament was only for the men's competition. No women's competition was held as the host nation Indonesia did not have enough stadiums to host two categories of football at the same time, but other reasons were put into consideration, such as the poor performance of the Indonesian women's national team. It was played among U-23 national teams. All matches took place in Jakarta. This was the first time that all Southeast Asian nations participated in the football tournament at a SEA Games.

The 2013 MNC Cup was held from 21 November to 24 November 2013, hosted by Indonesia. This tournament is intended for players under the age of 23 years, but each team can register three players aged over 23 years.

2017 Indonesia President's Cup was the second edition of the Indonesia President's Cup football championship, which was held by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). The tournament was held from 4 February to 12 March 2017. In 2015 edition, Mahaka Sports and Entertainment designated as operator of the championship; this year's edition was held up by the control of the PSSI. This championship became a means of testing the new league rules by PSSI before being used in Liga 1 in April 2017. The broadcasting rights were granted to two television stations under Elang Mahkota Teknologi group, namely Indosiar and SCTV.

The Piala Presiden is an annual pre-season association football tournament held in Indonesia and organized by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). Liga 1 and Liga 2 clubs are entitled to participate. The inaugural tournament was held in 2015 to fill the vacuum of the Indonesia Super League when Indonesia was suspended by FIFA for government interference. The most recent tournament was held in 2022.

The 2018 AFF U-19 Youth Championship was the 16th edition of the AFF U-19 Youth Championship, organised by ASEAN Football Federation. It was hosted by Indonesia during July 2018. Eleven out of the twelve member associations of the ASEAN Football Federation took part in the tournament featuring two groups of five and six teams.

The 2018 PSSI Anniversary Cup was a four-team under-23 association football tournament held at Pakansari Stadium in Cibinong, Bogor Regency from 27 April until 3 May 2018. The tournament was organised to commemorate the 88th anniversary of Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). Earlier, the tournament was expected to be kicked off on 28 April, however PSSI later changed it on 27 April due to Liga 1 matches that were to be held on that day.

Indonesia has participated in five AFC Asian Cup in their football history. Their first ever appearance was in 1996. Since then, Indonesia had repeatedly qualified for 2000, 2004, and 2007 tournaments, the latter was the first time Indonesia hosted it. Even though having a rich record, Indonesia has never progressed beyond group stage. They qualified for the fifth time in 2023.

The 2019 Indonesia President's Cup was the fourth edition of Indonesia President's Cup, held by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) as a pre-season tournament for the 2019 Liga 1. The tournament started on 2 March and finished on 12 April 2019.

The 2019 Piala Indonesia Finals was the two-legged final that decided the winner of the 2018–19 Piala Indonesia, the seventh season of Indonesia's main football cup.

2020 East Java Governor Cup was the thirteen edition of East Java Governor Cup football championship, which was held by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) as pre-season tournament during 2020 Liga 1 season break. The tournament was started on 10 February 2020 and ended on 20 February 2020. The broadcasting rights were granted solely to MNCTV.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2021 Menpora Cup</span> Football tournament season

The 2021 Menpora Cup was a pre-season tournament held by the PSSI ahead of the 2021 Liga 1. The tournament started on 21 March and finished with a two-legged final on 22 and 25 April 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all matches were played behind closed doors. The 2021 edition was the second edition of Menpora Cup, with the first edition being held in 2013 which was won by Arema who defeated Australian side Central Coast Mariners by 2–1 in the final.

The 2022 Indonesia President's Cup was the fifth edition of Indonesia President's Cup, held by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) as a pre-season tournament for the 2022–23 Liga 1. The tournament started on 11 June and finished on 17 July 2022. The tournament returned after being on hiatus for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2022 AFF U-16 Youth Championship</span> International football competition

The 2022 AFF U-16 Championship was the fifteenth edition of the AFF U-16 Youth Championship, the annual international youth association football championship organised by the ASEAN Football Federation for men's under-16 national teams of Southeast Asia. It was hosted by Indonesia from 31 July to 12 August 2022. Twelve member associations of the ASEAN Football Federation competed in the tournament featuring three groups of four teams. The planned 2020 and 2021 AFF U-16 Youth Championship were cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic in Southeast Asia.
