The Toronto Rock are a Canadian professional box lacrosse franchise based in Hamilton, Ontario. They are members of the Eastern Conference of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The team was the first Canadian franchise in the NLL. Oakville resident Jamie Dawick is the current owner of the Rock, purchasing the team after the 2009 season. Shawn Williams is the inaugural General Manager and Head Coach of the Las Vegas Desert Dogs in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). He is a former Canadian lacrosse player who played for the Ontario Raiders, Toronto Rock, Buffalo Bandits, Rochester Knighthawks and Edmonton Rush of the NLL and the Hamilton Nationals of Major League Lacrosse. He was also previously a scout for the Buffalo Bandits and assistant coach with the Colorado Mammoth. He was inducted to the NLL Hall of Fame in 2021 as a first ballot nominee.

Glenn Clark is the head coach of the Albany FireWolves and the former head coach of the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League. He was also a former NLL player. Clark played in the NLL from 1998-2006 for both the Rock and the Philadelphia Wings. With the Rock, Clark won five NLL Championships. He also appeared in three National Lacrosse League All-Star Games, two with the Rock, and one with the Wings. In 2003, Clark played for Team Canada as they won the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships. In 2011, he became goaltending coach for Team Canada. Glenn played for the Eastenders ball hockey team out of Toronto, Ontario from 2013 to 2016

Blaine Manning is a Canadian former indoor lacrosse player for the Toronto Rock in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). During his tenure with the team, he won four NLL Championships, most notably in 2011.

Josh "Shooter" Sanderson is a Canadian former professional lacrosse player. Sanderson played 19 seasons in the National Lacrosse League including nine with the Toronto Rock.

Darryl Gibson is a Canadian lacrosse coach and former professional player. He played for the Albany Attack, Toronto Rock, San Jose Stealth, Arizona Sting, Minnesota Swarm, Chicago Shamrox and Buffalo Bandits the National Lacrosse League. Gibson is now an Assistant Coach for the Albany FireWolves.

The National Lacrosse League entry draft is an annual event where the general managers of National Lacrosse League teams choose eligible players for their rosters from US college programs and Canada's junior lacrosse system.

The 2009 National Lacrosse League season, the 23rd in the history of the NLL, began January 3, 2009 in Buffalo, Portland, and Sunrise, Florida, and concluded with the Calgary Roughnecks defeating the New York Titans 12—10 in the Champion's Cup on May 15, 2009 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Mike McLellan is an indoor lacrosse player for the Philadelphia Wings in the National Lacrosse League and an outdoor lacrosse player formerly of the Hamilton Nationals of Major League Lacrosse. Nicknamed "The Maestro", he played college lacrosse at Mercyhurst University and was named a two-time NCAA Division II All-American.

Stephan Leblanc is a former Canadian professional lacrosse player having played for the Toronto Rock, New England Black Wolves, Halifax Thunderbirds and Georgia Swarm in the National Lacrosse League. In November 2022, he announced is retirement as a player.

Tyler Codron is a professional lacrosse player for the Vancouver Warriors in the National Lacrosse League. He previously played for the Portland LumberJax, Washington Stealth, Edmonton Rush and Colorado Mammoth. He also formerly played football for the University of British Columbia.

Kevin Crowley is a Canadian professional lacrosse player for the Vancouver Warriors in the National Lacrosse League Crowley is the first of only three players in the history of lacrosse to be drafted first overall in both the NLL and MLL/PLL drafts, with Lyle Thompson and Jeff Teat following him. Crowley attended New Westminster Secondary School and played his collegiate lacrosse at Stony Brook University and Simon Fraser University

Mitchell "Mitch" de Snoo is a professional lacrosse player for the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League and the Oakville Rock of Major Series Lacrosse. Hailing from Oshawa, Ontario, de Snoo attended Monsignor Paul Dwyer Catholic High School, where he played four years of lacrosse and ice hockey.

The Arena Lacrosse League (ALL) is a senior men's semi-professional box lacrosse league based in Canada. The league consists of teams in Ontario and British Columbia. Teams play a 14-game regular season schedule before league playoffs conclude with the ALL Cup.

Nick Rose is a Canadian professional box lacrosse goaltender for the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). Originally drafted 28th overall by the Rock in the 2008 NLL Entry Draft, he spent time with the Boston Blazers and Calgary Roughnecks before returning to Toronto in 2012.

Rob Hellyer is a Canadian professional lacrosse player. He is a forward and the captain for the Las Vegas Desert Dogs of the National Lacrosse League.

The Toronto Rock are a lacrosse team based in Hamilton, Ontario playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The 2022 season is the 24th in franchise history, and 23rd as the Rock. This was the second team season in Hamilton and the first since 1998 following a move from Toronto.

The Buffalo Bandits are a lacrosse team based in Buffalo, New York playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The 2023 season was their 31st season in the NLL.
