The Toronto Rock are a lacrosse team based in Hamilton, Ontario playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The 2022 season is the 24th in franchise history, and 23rd as the Rock. This was the second team season in Hamilton and the first since 1998 following a move from Toronto.

Veltman won three NLL championships with the Bandits and then five more with the Rock, where he was captain for ten seasons.

Brodie Merrill is a Canadian former professional lacrosse player. Merrill is recognized by the Premier Lacrosse League as having revolutionized the LSM position, and is the namesake for the Brodie Merrill LSM of the Year Award, being the only active PLL player to have an award named after them. Merrill is widely regarded as one of the greatest defensemen in lacrosse history, in both the indoor and outdoor game.

Shawn Williams is the inaugural General Manager and Head Coach of the Las Vegas Desert Dogs in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). He is a former Canadian lacrosse player who played for the Ontario Raiders, Toronto Rock, Buffalo Bandits, Rochester Knighthawks and Edmonton Rush of the NLL and the Hamilton Nationals of Major League Lacrosse. He was also previously a scout for the Buffalo Bandits and assistant coach with the Colorado Mammoth. He was inducted to the NLL Hall of Fame in 2021 as a first ballot nominee.

Josh "Shooter" Sanderson is a Canadian former professional lacrosse player. Sanderson played 19 seasons in the National Lacrosse League including nine with the Toronto Rock.

The National Lacrosse League entry draft is an annual event where the general managers of National Lacrosse League teams choose eligible players for their rosters from US college programs and Canada's junior lacrosse system.

Mike McLellan is an indoor lacrosse player for the Philadelphia Wings in the National Lacrosse League and an outdoor lacrosse player formerly of the Hamilton Nationals of Major League Lacrosse. Nicknamed "The Maestro", he played college lacrosse at Mercyhurst University and was named a two-time NCAA Division II All-American.

Kevin Crowley is a Canadian professional lacrosse player for the Vancouver Warriors in the National Lacrosse League Crowley is the first of only three players in the history of lacrosse to be drafted first overall in both the NLL and MLL/PLL drafts, with Lyle Thompson and Jeff Teat following him. The Toronto Rock are a lacrosse team based in Toronto playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The 2020 season is the 23rd in franchise history, and 22nd as the Rock. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the season was suspended on March 12, 2020. On April 8, the league made a further public statement announcing the cancellation of the remaining games of the 2020 season and that they would be exploring options for playoffs once it was safe to resume play. On February 3, 2021, the NLL announced that plans for an abbreviated spring season were cancelled due to travel and logistics uncertainty, and that their focus will move toward playing a full 2021–22 NLL season.

Nick Rose is a Canadian professional box lacrosse goaltender for the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). Originally drafted 28th overall by the Rock in the 2008 NLL Entry Draft, he spent time with the Boston Blazers and Calgary Roughnecks before returning to Toronto in 2012.

The Buffalo Bandits are a lacrosse team based in Buffalo, New York, playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The 2022 season was their 30th season in the NLL. The Bandits returned to play after the entire 2021 season was cancelled due to Covid 19. They started the season on December 4 at home.

The Rochester Knighthawks are a lacrosse team based in Rochester, New York playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The 2022 season will be the team's 2nd season in the league. The original Knighthawks moved to Halifax to become the Halifax Thunderbirds.

The Buffalo Bandits are a lacrosse team based in Buffalo, New York playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The 2023 season was their 31st season in the NLL.
