The Calgary Roughnecks are a professional box lacrosse team based in Calgary, Alberta. They are members of the Western Conference of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and play their home games on WestJet Field at Scotiabank Saddledome. The team name is derived from the roughnecks who work drilling rigs in Alberta's oil and gas industry. The team is affectionately known by fans as the Riggers.
Josh "Shooter" Sanderson is a Canadian former professional lacrosse player. Sanderson played 19 seasons in the National Lacrosse League including nine with the Toronto Rock.
The Calgary Roughnecks are a lacrosse team based in Calgary playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The 2009 season was the 8th in franchise history. The Roughnecks finished the season with a franchise best 12–4 record to lead the league. They won the Champion's Cup at home with a 12–10 victory over the New York Titans.
Tyler Richards is a lacrosse coach and former professional Canadian lacrosse goaltender. He is the goaltending coach for the Calgary Roughnecks of the National Lacrosse League. As a player, he played for the Calgary Roughnecks, Washington Stealth, Vancouver Stealth and San Jose Stealth of the NLL as well as the New Westminster Salmonbellies of the WLA. From 2005 to 2007, he played for the Coquitlam, BC, Adanacs of the BC Junior A Lacrosse League.

Nolan Heavenor is a former professional lacrosse transition player for the Calgary Roughnecks and Minnesota Swarm of the National Lacrosse League. He was drafted 17th overall by the Minnesota Swarm in the 2005 NLL Entry Draft from Limestone College. After playing his first season in 2006 for Minnesota, he was traded to the Calgary Roughnecks in exchange for a 2nd round pick and 3rd round pick in the 2006 NLL Entry Draft.
Greg Harnett is a professional indoor lacrosse defenceman who plays for the Buffalo Bandits in the National Lacrosse League. He previously played for the Calgary Roughnecks, wearing #50. He was drafted in the 2nd round in the 2011 NLL Entry Draft. After playing 9 years with the Roughneck, Harnett signed a 1-year contract with the Bandits prior to the 2023 season.
Curtis Manning is a Canadian professional indoor lacrosse transition who plays for the Calgary Roughnecks in the National Lacrosse League, wearing #10. Since turning professional in 2010, he has played for the Roughnecks for his entire NLL career. Manning has represented Team Canada in field lacrosse, helping them win silver at the 2010 World Lacrosse Championship.

In November 2022, he was re-signed for two more years to the end of the 2024 NLL season.
