The National Lacrosse League (NLL) is a men's professional box lacrosse league in North America. The league is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The National Lacrosse League expansion draft is a meeting where the general managers of expansion National Lacrosse League teams begin to fill their teams with unprotected players from the rosters of existing NLL teams. Such a draft occurs whenever an expansion NLL franchise is awarded. The most recent expansion draft was in 2019. Before that, there were drafts in 2018, 2008 and 2007 (Boston), 2006, and 2005.

On April 8, the league made a further public statement announcing the cancellation of the remaining games of the 2020 season and that they would be exploring options for playoffs once it was safe to resume play.

The Interstate Box Lacrosse Association (IBLA) is a men's semi-professional box lacrosse league based in the United States. Since 2019, the IBLA has served as an official partner of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), operating as a developmental funnel. The league was founded in 2017 to unite regional semi-professional leagues into a system similar to the Canadian Lacrosse Association structure of men's Senior A and Senior B indoor lacrosse teams. As of 2021 there are 52 total teams playing in 17 regional leagues. The Philadelphia Phunk are the most recent IBLA champions, defeating the Minneapolis Wheat Kings in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 27, 2020.
