The National Lacrosse League (NLL) is a men's professional box lacrosse league in North America. The league is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The National Lacrosse League expansion draft is a meeting where the general managers of expansion National Lacrosse League teams begin to fill their teams with unprotected players from the rosters of existing NLL teams. New York Riptide NLL professional box lacrosse team

The New York Riptide are a professional box lacrosse franchise based in Uniondale, New York. They are members of the East Division of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). They play home games at Nassau Coliseum and began their first season in 2019.

The 2020 National Lacrosse League season, formally known as the 2019–2020 season, was the 34th in the history of the NLL. The season began on November 29, 2019 and was scheduled to end with the NLL final in late spring of 2020. However due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the season was suspended on March 12, 2020. On April 8, the league made a further public statement announcing the cancellation of the remaining games of the 2020 season and that they would be exploring options for playoffs once it was safe to resume play.

Interstate Box Lacrosse Association

The Interstate Box Lacrosse Association (IBLA) is a men's semi-professional box lacrosse league based in the United States. Since 2019, the IBLA has served as an official partner of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), operating as a developmental funnel. The league was founded in 2017 to unite regional semi-professional leagues into a system similar to the Canadian Lacrosse Association structure of men's Senior A and Senior B indoor lacrosse teams. As of 2021 there are 52 total teams playing in 17 regional leagues. The Philadelphia Phunk are the most recent IBLA champions, defeating the Minneapolis Wheat Kings in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 27, 2020.

The Buffalo Bandits are a lacrosse team based in Buffalo, New York playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The 2022 season is their 30th season in the NLL. the Buffalo Bandits has returned to play after the entire 2021 season was cancelled due to Covid 19. they will be starting the season on December 4th at home.

The Rochester Knighthawks are a lacrosse team based in Rochester, New York playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The 2022 season will be the team's 2nd season in the league. The original Knighthawks moved to Halifax to become the Halifax Thunderbirds.
