The 2023 World Archery Youth Championships was the 17th edition of World Youth Archery Championships. The event was held in Limerick, Ireland 1-9 July 2023, and was organised by World Archery. Junior events were held for those under 21, and Cadet for those under 18. [1] [2]

The World Archery Federation is the governing body of the sport of archery. It is based in Lausanne, Switzerland. It is composed of 156 national federations and other archery associations, and is recognised by the International Olympic Committee.

The World Archery Championships are a series of competitions in Archery organised by the World Archery Federation (WA). The first competition held under that title took place in 1931.

The Gymnasiade, or World Gymnasiade, or World School Sport Games, or ISF World School Sport Games is an international multi-sport event which is organised by the International School Sport Federation (ISF). The 2013 World Archery Youth Championships was the 13th edition of World Youth Archery Championships. The event was held in Wuxi, China 13–20 October 2013, and was organised by World Archery. Junior events were held for those under 20, and Cadet for those under 17.

The archery events at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo took place in Yumenoshima Park. Five events were planned with a mixed team event staged for the first time.

Ankita Bhakat is an Indian recurve archer who is currently ranked world number 20 by the World Archery Federation. She is a member of the Indian national recurve team and competes in international events in the women's individual, women's team and the mixed team recurve categories. She competed in the 2017 World Archery Youth Championships held at Rosario, Argentina, and won the gold medal in the recurve junior mixed team event with partner Jemson Singh Ningthoujam.

Casey Kaufhold is an American archer competing in women's recurve events. She won the silver medal in the women's individual event at the 2021 World Archery Championships held in Yankton, United States. She competed in the women's individual and women's team events at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.

Lisa Barbelin is a French archer, who won the recurve events at the 2021 European Archery Championships, and 2022 European Indoor Archery Championships. She has previously won multiple medals at the World Youth Archery Championships, and won bronze medals in events at the 2019 and 2022 Archery World Cups. In June 2021 she was the world's number one ranked competitor. Barbelin competed in the women's individual event at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

The 2021 World Archery Youth Championships was the 16th edition of World Youth Archery Championships. The event was held in Wrocław, Poland 10-15 August 2021, and was organised by World Archery. Junior events were held for those under 20, and Cadet for those under 18. The best performing nation was India.

The 2019 World Archery Youth Championships was the 17th edition of World Youth Archery Championships. The event was held in Madrid, Spain 19-25 August 2019, and was organised by World Archery. Junior events were held for those under 21, and Cadet for those under 18. Seven world records were broken during the course of the championships. The best performing nation was South Korea.

Ella Gibson is a British archer competing in compound events. She won the gold medal in the women's compound event at the 2022 European Indoor Archery Championships held in Laško, Slovenia. She also won the gold medal in the women's compound event at the 2022 World Games held in Birmingham, Alabama, United States.

1880 Women's Lawn Tennis season was mainly composed of national, regional, county, local regular amateur tournaments. This year twelve tennis events for women were staged three of the them in Ireland and nine events in England between May and October 1880
