2024 Everest Women's Volleyball League (also known as EWVL 2024 or Vatsalya EWVL 2024) is the inaugural season of the Everest Women's Volleyball League, a franchise based Nepalese Indoor Volleyball League which is organized by Infinity Dreams Pvt. Ltd. [1] in association with Nepal Volleyball Association. This edition of the league will feature six teams from Chitwan, Gandaki, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Karnali and Madhesh Province. The tournament is scheduled to be held 30 September to 5 October 2024 at Dasarath Stadium Covered Hall. [2] [3] [4]

Therefore, 2010 champions North Korea, runners-up Turkmenistan, and third-placed Tajikistan had to navigate the qualification phase in order to return to the finals. North Korea successfully defended their title and qualified for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.

It was the biggest cricket tournament in the country, played during the northern winter calendar, mostly in the month of December. It was played in round-robin format in which top four teams qualify for the playoffs. The tournament was renowned for having high attendance among the domestic cricket of the ICC associate nations. The first edition of the tournament was held in September 2016 with six franchises consisting of domestic and international players. Chitwan Tigers are the defending champions after winning the 2021 season.

The 2017 Everest Premier League, also abbreviated as 2017 EPL, and branded as TVS EPL 2017, was the second edition of the Everest Premier League, a professional men's domestic Twenty20 cricket competition in Nepal. The tournament was scheduled to be held from 18 December 2017 to 30 December 2017. The tournament featured six teams and their names were based on the cities.

The Nepal Premier League (NPL) (Nepali: नेपाल प्रिमियर लिग) is men's professional Twenty20 cricket league held annually in Nepal. Founded by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) in 2024, the league features eight provinces/cities based franchise teams. The inaugural season is set to be held from 30 November to 21 December, 2024. The tournament will use a round-robin format, with the top teams advancing to the playoffs.

Chitwan Tigers was a professional cricket franchise based in Chitwan, Nepal, that played in the Everest Premier League. It was owned by the IDS Group Pvt Ltd. National players like Dipendra Singh Airee, Dilip Nath and Lalit Singha Bhandari, as well as internationals Paul Stirling and former U-19 captain of the England Cricket Team, Max Holden, have been part of the team. In December 2018, the franchise signed a sponsorship deal with Tensberg beer. Chitwan Tigers won their maiden title of the Everest Premier League after defeating Pokhara Rhinos by 4 wickets in 2021.

The 2021 Nepal Super League was the first season of the Nepal Super League, the first professional franchise based club football league of Nepal. Seven franchises participated in the tournament played at the Dasharath Rangasala from 24 April to 15 May 2021. Kathmandu Rayzrs won the title after beating Dhangadhi FC in the final on 15 May 2021.

Kamana Bista is a Nepalese volleyball player. She is a member of the Nepal Women's Volleybal team. She made her debut in the national team during the AVC Asian Central Zone Women’s and Men’s Volleyball Championship in Bangladesh. She participated in the first set of the team's opening match against Sri Lanka, helping them to win 3-2. She also plays for the Nepal Police Club in domestic matches.
