The 2024 BEMER Cyclassics was a road cycling one-day race that took place on 8 September in Germany. It was the 27th edition of EuroEyes Cyclassics and the 31st event of the 2024 UCI World Tour.
All eighteen UCI WorldTeams and five UCI ProTeams made up the twenty-three teams that participated in the race. [1]

The classic cycle races are the most prestigious one-day professional road cycling races in the international calendar. Some of these events date back to the 19th century. They are normally held at roughly the same time each year. The five most revered races are often described as the cycling monuments.
Allan Howard Davis is an Australian former professional road racing cyclist, who last rode for UCI ProTour team Orica–GreenEDGE. Born in Ipswich, Queensland, Davis resides in Bundaberg, Queensland and in Spain. Known for his sprinting ability, he started competitive cycling at the age of 10, and turned professional in 2002. He is also the brother of fellow cyclist, Scott Davis, and was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder.
The Hamburg Cyclassics is an annual one-day professional and amateur cycling race in and around Hamburg, Germany. Although the route varies, its distance is always around 250 km. The course's most significant difficulty is Waseberg hill in Blankenese, which is addressed three times in the race finale.

EF Education–EasyPost, is an American professional cycling team. Founded in 2003, they have competed in the UCI World Tour since 2009. Headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, United States, the team maintains an equipment and training facility in Girona, Catalonia, Spain. In 2018, EF Education First, an international education company — founded in Sweden but headquartered and incorporated in Switzerland — purchased a controlling equity stake in Slipstream Sports, the sports management company behind the team. The founder and CEO is American Jonathan Vaughters and the head sporting director is Briton Charly Wegelius.
Andrej Hauptman is a Slovenian former professional road racing cyclist. In 2001 he became the first Slovenian rider to take a world championship medal in cycling when he won the bronze in the road race at the Road World Championships. After retiring from competition, he became a cycling coach: he is coach of fellow Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogačar and also serves as head coach and head of selectors for the Slovenian national cycling team. He formerly managed Ljubljana Gusto Santic, where as well as guiding Pogačar through his under-23 career he coached Primož Roglič when the latter switched from ski jumping to cycling and rode for the team's development squad. In May 2019 Hauptman joined UAE Team Emirates as a directeur sportif after Pogačar joined the team.
Alexander Kristoff is a Norwegian professional road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Uno-X Mobility. His biggest victories have been the 2014 Milan–San Remo and the 2015 Tour of Flanders among many other successes.
Giacomo Nizzolo is an Italian racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team.
The 2012 Vattenfall Cyclassics was the 17th running of the Vattenfall Cyclassics single-day cycling race. It was held, in and around Hamburg, Germany, on 19 August over a distance of 245.9 kilometres and was the twenty-third race of the 2012 UCI World Tour season.
Matteo Trentin is an Italian professional cyclist, who rides for UCI ProTeam Tudor Pro Cycling Team. Having initially started his career in cyclo-cross, Trentin has competed more prominently in road bicycle racing, having taken almost thirty professional victories – including eight stage wins across the three Grand Tours, victories at Paris–Tours in 2015 and 2017, and he won the road race at the 2018 European Road Cycling Championships in Glasgow.
Marco Haller is an Austrian professional road bicycling racer, who rides for UCI WorldTeam Red Bull–Bora–Hansgrohe. A sprinter, Haller has taken six victories during his professional career, including wins at the 2015 Austrian National Road Race Championships and the 2022 Hamburg Cyclassics.

The 2014 Vattenfall Cyclassics was the 19th edition of the Vattenfall Cyclassics, a single-day cycling race. It was held on 24 August 2014, over a distance of 247 km (153.5 mi), starting and finishing in Hamburg, Germany. It is the 23rd race of the 2014 UCI World Tour season. It was won in the sprint by Alexander Kristoff, ahead of Giacomo Nizzolo and Simon Gerrans.
Mads Pedersen is a Danish professional racing cyclist, who rides for UCI WorldTeam Lidl–Trek. He has won stages in all three Grand Tours — the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, and Vuelta a España. He won the men's road race at the 2019 UCI Road World Championships in Yorkshire, England, becoming the first Danish cyclist to win the men's World Championship road race title.
The 2015 Vattenfall Cyclassics was a one-day classic cycling race that took place in Northern Germany on 23 August. It was the 20th edition of the Vattenfall Cyclassics one-day cycling race, and was the twenty-third race of the 2015 UCI World Tour. The race started in Kiel and ended in Hamburg. The course was mainly flat; the race generally suits sprinters, such as the defending champion, Alexander Kristoff.
