The 2024 Il Lombardia was a one-day road cycling race that took place on 12 October 2024 in the Italian region of Lombardy. It was the 34th event of the 2024 UCI World Tour and was the 118th edition of Il Lombardia.

The 2012 Giro di Lombardia or 2012 Il Lombardia was the 106th edition of the Giro di Lombardia single-day cycling race, often known as the Race of the Falling Leaves. It was held on 29 September 2012, over a distance of 251 km (156.0 mi), starting in Bergamo and ending in Lecco. It was the penultimate event of the season in the 2012 UCI World Tour. The very steep climb Muro di Sormano returned to the route during the 2012 edition after an absence of fifty years and was situated before the Madonna del Ghisallo climb. Joaquim Rodríguez won the race after a solo breakaway initiated on the final climb of the day. He became the first Spaniard to win this Classic.

The 2016 Il Lombardia took place in Lombardy in Northern Italy on 1 October 2016. It was the 110th edition of the Il Lombardia road bicycle race and the closing event of the 2016 UCI World Tour.

The 2017 Il Lombardia was a road cycling one-day race that took place on 7 October. It was the 111th edition of the Il Lombardia and the 36th event of the 2017 UCI World Tour. It was won for the second time by Vincenzo Nibali. The race was marred by several severe accidents, all on the fast and technical descent of the Sormano hill. Laurens De Plus suffered a small fracture to his right knee when he was launched over the guardrail and fell into a ravine. Jan Bakelants remained hospitalised in Como with seven broken ribs and two fractures to his spine. Simone Petilli was diagnosed after his crash at the same site with two back fractures, a broken collarbone and shoulder blade.

The 2020 Il Lombardia was a one-day road cycling race that took place on 15 August 2020 in the Italian region of Lombardy. It was part of the 2020 UCI World Tour and was the 114th edition of Il Lombardia. The race was initially scheduled to take place on 10 October. The race was first rescheduled to 31 October with the May calendar update, and subsequently to 15 August with the June calendar update in order to not conflict with the major races that had been rescheduled, with the traditional spring races held in October and the Tour de France in late August to early September.

It was won by Tadej Pogačar in the sprint against Fausto Masnada. In the chasing group Adam Yates won the sprint for third place.

The 2023 Il Lombardia was a one-day road cycling race that took place on 7 October 2023 in the Italian region of Lombardy. It was the 34th event of the 2023 UCI World Tour and was the 117th edition of Il Lombardia. The race was won by Tadej Pogačar with a 32 kilometer solo after an attack on the descent of Passo di Ganda, marking his third consecutive victory in the race.
