The 2024 PDC World Cup of Darts, known as the BetVictor World Cup of Darts for sponsorship reasons, [1] will be the fourteenth edition of the PDC World Cup of Darts. It will take place from 27 to 30 June 2024 at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt, Germany.
Wales (Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton) are the defending champions, after defeating Scotland (Peter Wright and Gary Anderson) 10–2 in the final,
There will be 40 teams. The top four teams are seeded to the second round, with the other 36 competing in a group stage of twelve groups of three, with one qualifying from each group. [2]
In the new format all rounds consist of a doubles match, removing singles matches, which had been a part of World Cups in previous years, entirely.
Group stage: Best of seven legs.
Second round, quarter and semi-finals: Best of fifteen legs.
Final: Best of nineteen legs
Total prize money is £450,000, with the winners getting £80,000. [2]

Mark Webster is a Welsh former professional darts player. Nicknamed Webby and The Spider, he played in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Webster began his career on the British Darts Organisation (BDO) circuit, winning the BDO World Championship in 2008. He became a full-time professional in 2009, having previously been a fully qualified registered plumber. He now works as an analyst and commentator on Sky Sports and ITV.
The 2007 PartyBets.com Grand Slam of Darts was the inaugural staging of the darts tournament, the Grand Slam of Darts, held by the Professional Darts Corporation. The tournament invited the best performing players from the PDC and its rival the British Darts Organisation. There had been two previous head-to-head matches between the champions of the two organisations and a few tournaments have also featured BDO v PDC clashes. This tournament was the first of its kind to be held in the United Kingdom.

The 2020 BetVictor World Cup of Darts was the tenth edition of the PDC World Cup of Darts. It took place behind closed doors from 6–8 November 2020 at the Salzburgarena in Salzburg, Austria. The event was originally due to be held between 18–21 June 2020 at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany, but was postponed and relocated due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was also relocated away from a second planned venue of the Premstättner Halle in Graz.
