USL League One (USL1) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that had its inaugural season in 2019. The Division III league is operated by United Soccer League, the same group that operates the Division II USL Championship and other leagues. 2022 FC Tucson season was the twelfth season in the soccer team's history and their fourth in USL League One.

The 2022 Tormenta FC season was the club's seventh season of existence, and their fourth season as a professional club, all of which have been spent in the third tier of American soccer in USL League One. Tormenta FC enter this season following an 11th-place finish the previous season. This will be the club's first season in their new stadium, Optim Health System Field, after spending previous seasons at Eagle Field on the campus of Georgia Southern University.

The 2022 Greenville Triumph SC season was the fourth season in the soccer team's history, all of which they've competed in USL League One, a league in the third division of American soccer. They will play their home games at Legacy Early College Field. John Harkes will be managing the club for his fourth season. Greenville finished in 2nd-place the previous season, losing the 2021 final to Union Omaha.

The 2022 Charlotte Independence season was the 7th season of the club's existence. This will be the club's first season in USL League One, a move the club announced in December 2021 after playing in USL Championship since 2019. It will be the club's first season in the third division of the American soccer pyramid since 2016. The club are coming off of a season that saw them finish 4th in the eastern conference, and advance to the conference semifinals

The 2022 Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC season was the first season in the club's history. The club, which was announced on January 12, 2021, will be playing in USL League One, a third division league in the American soccer pyramid. The club will play their home games at Future Legends Complex, a sports park currently under construction in Windsor, Colorado. In August 2021, the club announced that former Libya international Éamon Zayed will manage the club in its first season.

The 2023 Union Omaha season was the fourth season in the soccer team's history, and their fourth season in the third division of American soccer, USL League One. It was the team's first season without head coach Jay Mims, after the club announced his resignation on December 16. He was replaced by Dominic Casciato, who was most recently an assistant coach at El Paso Locomotive of the USL Championship. The 2023 Lexington SC season was the club's first season since their establishment on October 5, 2021. The club made its league debut in the USL League One as well as its domestic cup debut in the U.S. Open Cup.

The 2024 Lexington SC season is the club's second season since their establishment on October 5, 2021. The club will be competing in their second season in USL League One and will be part of the inaugural USL1 in-season tournament. They made their 2nd ever appearance in the U.S. Open Cup on March 19, falling 3–4 to amateur USL League Two side Vermont Green FC in what was the first-ever cup match played in the state, and LSC became the first professional club to play a competitive match in Vermont.

The 2023 North Carolina FC season was the 17th season of the club's existence, and their third season in USL League One, the third division of the American soccer pyramid. North Carolina was coached by John Bradford, his third season with the club, and played their home games at Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park. The club had finished at the bottom of the table in their second season in USL League One. North Carolina finished the season in 2nd place in the league table, earning a spot in the playoffs. After defeating Hailstorm FC 3–1 in the semi-finals, they defeated rival Charlotte Independence 5–4 in penalties to win the 2023 USL League One Final.
It was announced on August 7, 2023, that North Carolina will return to the USL Championship for the 2024 season.
