The 2024 T1 League draft was the fourth edition of the T1 League's annual draft. It was originally scheduled to hold on July 11, 2024, in Taipei City. [1] [2] There were five teams joined the draft, including the Kaohsiung Aquas, New Taipei CTBC DEA, Tainan TSG GhostHawks, Taipei Mars, and the Taiwan Beer Leopards. On July 1, the new league preparation committee announced that P. League+ and T1 League would jointly hold the united draft on July 15. [3]

The draft combine was originally scheduled to hold at National Taiwan University of Arts on July 6, 2024. [2] On June 29, the T1 League announced to hold the draft combine with P. League+ on July 3. There were 40 local players and 8 foreign students in the draft combine list. [6]
On June 29, 2024, the T1 League released its official list of entrants, consisting of 35 players from college and other educational institutions in this edition of the draft. [6]
The 2021 P. League+ draft was the first edition of the draft. Originally scheduled to be held online on July 21, 2021 and broadcast on YouTube and Facebook, the P. League+ announced on July 2, 2021, that the draft would be postponed until July 22, 2021 due to the scheduling conflicts with Women's Super Basketball League draft.
The New Taipei CTBC DEA are a Taiwanese professional basketball team based in New Taipei City. They have competed in the T1 League since the 2021–22 season, and play their home games at the Xinzhuang Gymnasium. The DEA became one of the six teams of the inaugural T1 League season. And the DEA became one of the seven teams of the inaugural TPBL season.

The 2022–23 New Taipei CTBC DEA season was the franchise's 2nd season in the T1 League. The DEA were coached by Lee Yi-Hua in his second year as their head coach, with Chang Shu-Jen as their general manager. On September 5, 2022, the T1 League named Chang Shu-Jen, the general manager of the New Taipei CTBC DEA, as their new secretary general. And the DEA named Liu Chih-Wei, the general manager of the CTBC Brothers, as their new general manager.
The 2022–23 T1 League season was the second season of the T1 League, with the Kaohsiung Aquas, New Taipei CTBC DEA, Taichung Suns, Tainan TSG GhostHawks, TaiwanBeer HeroBears, and the Taoyuan Leopards participating in this competition. The regular season started on October 29, 2022 and ended on April 23, 2023. The All-Star Game was played on February 28. The play-in series started on April 25 and ended on April 27. The semifinals series started on April 28 and ended on May 8. The finals series started on May 13 and ended on May 21. On May 21, the New Taipei CTBC DEA defeated the Tainan TSG GhostHawks, 4–0, winning the 2022–23 season championship.
The 2023 PLG draft, the third edition of the P. League+'s annual draft, was originally scheduled on July 12, 2023 at Taipei New Horizon. The draft was rescheduled to July 11, 2023.

There were 41 players participated in the draft, and 7 players were chosen in 2 rounds.
The 2023–24 T1 League season was the third season of the T1 League, with the Kaohsiung Aquas, New Taipei CTBC DEA, Tainan TSG GhostHawks, Taipei Mars, and the Taiwan Beer Leopards participating in this competition. The regular season started on October 28, 2023 and ended on April 28, 2024. The semifinals series started on May 4 and ended on May 14. The finals series started on May 24 and ended on June 1. On June 1, the Taiwan Beer Leopards defeated the Taipei Mars, 4–0, winning the 2023–24 season championship.
The 2023–24 Taipei Mars season was the franchise's 1st season in the T1 League. The Mars were coached by Brian Adams in his first year as their head coach, with Lin You-Ting as their general manager. On December 31, the Mars announced that Brian Adams resigned from head coach. On January 3, 2024, the Mars named Hsu Hao-Cheng, the assistant coach of the Taipei Mars, as their interim head coach.
The 2023–24 Taichung Suns season was the franchise's 3rd season in the T1 League. The Suns were with Wang Wei-Chieh as their general manager. On June 29, 2023, the Suns announced that Chris Gavina left the team. On July 1, the Suns named Anthony Tucker as their new head coach. On September 15, the T1 League announced that the 2023–24 season participation rights of the Taichung Suns was cancelled due to financial qualification. On October 13, the news reported that Anthony Tucker left the team. On October 16, the Suns announced to fold officially.
The 2023–24 Kaohsiung Aquas season was the franchise's 3rd season in the T1 League. The Aquas were coached by Brendan Joyce in his third year as their head coach, with Wang De-Yao as their general manager.
The 2024 PLG draft, the fourth edition of the P. League+'s annual draft, was originally scheduled to be held on July 10, 2024.
The 2024–25 T1 League season was scheduled to be the fourth season of the T1 League, with the Kaohsiung Aquas, New Taipei CTBC DEA, Tainan TSG GhostHawks, Taipei Mars, and the Taiwan Beer Leopards participating in this competition. On July 9, 2024, the Tainan TSG GhostHawks announced to quit the new league preparation for the new season of the P. League+. And the Kaohsiung Aquas, New Taipei CTBC DEA, Taipei Taishin Mars, and the Taoyuan Taiwan Beer Leopards announced to join the Taiwan Professional Basketball League.
The 2024 Taiwan Professional Basketball League draft is a basketball league draft previously held by P. League+ and T1 League during the PLG–T1 League merger and now by Taiwan Professional Basketball League after the league was formed. The draft is originally scheduled to be held on July 15, 2024, replacing the 2024 PLG draft and 2024 T1 League draft which were scheduled respectively on July 10 and July 11. On July 8, the Taipei Fubon Braves, Taoyuan Pauian Pilots, and the Kaohsiung 17LIVE Steelers announced to quit the new league preparation for the new season of the P. League+. On July 9, Tainan TSG GhostHawks announced to exit the merger and join the P. League+.
