Aryna Sabalenka defeated Ashleigh Barty in the final, 6–0, 3–6, 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2021 Madrid Open. It was her 10th career WTA Tour singles title, and her first on clay.

Paula Badosa defeated Victoria Azarenka in the final, 7–6(7–5), 2–6, 7–6(7–2) to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2021 Indian Wells Masters. At three hours and four minutes, the final was the longest-ever Indian Wells women's final. Badosa became the first Spanish woman to win the title. Ons Jabeur defeated Jessica Pegula in the final, 7–5, 0–6, 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2022 Madrid Open. It was her first WTA 1000 title, and she became the first Arab and African woman to win a WTA 1000 title.

Caroline Garcia defeated Petra Kvitová in the final, 6–2, 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2022 Cincinnati Masters. It was her third WTA 1000 title, and her first since 2017. Garcia was the first qualifier to reach and to win the final of a WTA 1000 event.

Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková defeated Caty McNally and Taylor Townsend in the final, 3–6, 7–5, 6–1 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2022 US Open. With the win, they became the first women's pair to complete the career Super Slam in doubles. It was their sixth major title together.

Elena Rybakina defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the final, 7–6(13–11), 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2023 Indian Wells Open. It was her first WTA 1000 title, and the final was a rematch of the Australian Open final, won by Sabalenka. Rybakina became the first Kazakhstani player to win a WTA 1000 singles title.

It was her third WTA 1000 and sixth career WTA Tour title. Pegula became the first player to defend the women's singles title since Martina Hingis in 2000. Ranked No. 132, Anisimova became the lowest-ranked women's singles finalist at the Canadian Open since Alycia Moulton in 1984.

Asia Muhammad and Erin Routliffe defeated Leylah Fernandez and Yulia Putintseva in the final, 3–6, 6–1, [10–4] to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2024 Cincinnati Masters. They saved a match point en route to the title, in the quarterfinals against Demi Schuurs and Luisa Stefani.

McCartney Kessler won her first WTA Tour singles title at the 2024 Tennis in the Land, defeating Beatriz Haddad Maia in the final, 1–6, 6–1, 7–5. Kessler became the first wildcard to win the tournament.

Two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka defeated Zheng Qinwen in the final, 6–3, 5–7, 6–3 to win the singles tennis title at the 2024 Wuhan Open. Sabalenka became the first player to win three consecutive titles at the Wuhan Open, and extended her unbeaten win streak at the tournament to 17 matches dating back to her tournament debut in 2018. The final was a rematch of the 2024 Australian Open final, which Sabalenka also won. One week later, on 21 October 2024, Sabalenka reclaimed the WTA No. 1 singles ranking from Iga Świątek, who lost her fourth round points from Miami earlier this year.

The 2025 Adelaide International is a professional tennis tournament on the 2025 ATP Tour and 2025 WTA Tour. It is a combined ATP Tour 250 and WTA 500 tournament to be played on outdoor hard court at Memorial Drive Tennis Centre, Adelaide, Australia. The tournament will be held from 6 to 11 January 2025.
