2025 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Regional Final will be a cricket tournament that forms part of the qualification process for the 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. Winners and Runners-up of the tournament will join England and Ireland in the 2026 T20 World Cup who have pre-qualified due to progress in the 2024 T20 World Cup and by world ranking, respectively.

Teams and qualification

In this cycle, a total of thirty teams are participating in the sub-regional phase, while the two leading associates, Scotland and Netherlands, who took part in the 2024 T20 World Cup, enter the process at the regional final stage. The sub-regional phase is divided into three events with ten teams competing in each event, which are being held between June and August 2024. [1] The hosts and the dates of the sub-regional qualifier tournaments were announced on 14 December 2023. [2]

England qualified directly for the T20 World Cup as a top eight team from the previous edition. Ireland qualified directly through ICC Men's T20I Team Rankings. The following teams entered the qualification process for the remaining two quotas for Europe.

The event is organised by the sport's governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC), with the first edition having been held in England in 2009. The 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier was a cricket tournament that formed part of qualification process for the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup. Twelve regional qualifiers were held by the International Cricket Council (ICC), with 62 teams competing during 2018 in five regions – Africa, Americas (2), Asia (2), East Asia Pacific (2) and Europe (3). The top 25 sides from these progressed to five Regional Finals in 2019, with seven teams then going on to compete in the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier, along with the six lowest ranked sides from the ICC T20I Championship.

The 2019 international cricket season was from May 2019 to September 2019. The 2019 Cricket World Cup in England and Wales took place during this time, starting on 30 May 2019. 10 Test matches, 78 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 109 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), as well as 1 Women's Test, 9 Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs) and 130 Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), were played during this period. Additionally, a number of other T20I/WT20I matches were also scheduled to be played in minor series involving associate nations. The season started with India leading the Test cricket rankings, England leading the ODI rankings and Pakistan leading the Twenty20 rankings. On 3 May, the International Cricket Council (ICC) expanded the men's T20I rankings to include all current Full Member and Associate members of the ICC, featuring 80 teams. In the women's rankings, Australia women lead both the WODI and WT20I tables.

The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier was a cricket tournament that was played as part of qualification process for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The sub regional tournaments were scheduled to take place in June and July 2021 in Finland and Belgium, with the regional final taking place in October 2021 in Spain. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full international status to Twenty20 men's matches played between member sides from 1 January 2019 onwards. Therefore, all the matches in the Regional Qualifiers were played as Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
