Group A is one of two groups of the 2025 IIHF World Championship. The four best-placed teams advance to the playoff round, while the last placed team will be relegated to Division I in 2026. [1]

The USA won for the seventh time, for the first time defeating someone other than Canada in the gold medal game. Sweden took silver, while Canada took bronze beating host Russia. The 2025 IIHF World Championship will be co-hosted by Stockholm, Sweden, and Herning, Denmark, from 9 to 25 May 2025.
