The 2025 UEFA Women's Nations League Finals will be the final tournament of the 2025 edition of the UEFA Women's Nations League, the second season of the international football competition involving the women's national teams of the 55 member associations of UEFA. The tournament consists of two semi-finals, a third place play-off, and a final, all played over two legs, to determine the champions of the UEFA Women's Nations League. [1]
The Nations League Finals will take place from October to December 2025 [2] and will be contested by the four group winners of League A.
The competition will be played in a two-legged knockout format, consisting of two semi-finals, a third place play-off, and a final, all played over two legs (this differs to the previous edition and all other men's editions where all the Nations Leagues Finals matches were single-legged). An open draw will take place on 6 June 2025 to determine the pairings and order of legs for the semi-final matches, as well as which semi-final pairing will have its teams host the first leg of the third-place play-off and final. [2] [3]
The semi-final matches will take place from 20 to 28 October, and the third place play-off and final matches from 26 November to 2 December.
The Nations League Finals will be played in two-legged knockout matches, with the aggregate score over two legs determining the winner. If the aggregate score is level at the end of normal time in the second leg, 30 minutes of extra time will be played (the away goals rule will not apply), and if still level after extra time a penalty shoot-out will decide the winner. [1]
The four group winners of League A will qualify for the Nations League Finals.
