The 2202nd Infantry Brigade (Ready Reserve), Philippine Army, known as the Eagle Brigade, is one of the Army Reserve Command's ready reserve infantry Brigades organic to the 22nd infantry Division (Ready Reserve).

Contents

The unit specializes in Urban Warfare, Urban Search and Rescue, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief, and Civil-Military Operations. It operates mostly in the Davao del Sur (Region 11)Province.

Mobilization Center

The 2202nd Infantry Brigade's mobilization center is the 1105th Community Defense Center, 11RCDG, ARESCOM at 76-A Brgy Bucana, Matina, Davao City.

Garrisons

The Brigade Headquarters is strategically located on the Magsaysay Complex near the headquarters of the Task Force-Davao, JTF HARIBON at Sta. Ana Wharf, Davao City, allowing the Brigade to readily deploy the Battalions at any time during a declaration of State of emergency by the national government or as requested by the City Government (LGU).

The Advance Command Post which houses the Support and Rifle Platoons is garrisoned at the southern side of Davao City at Toril Poblacion.

The 3rd United States Infantry Regiment is a regiment of the United States Army. It currently has three active battalions, and is readily identified by its nickname, The Old Guard, as well as Escort to the President. The regimental motto is Noli Me Tangere. The regiment is a major unit of the Military District of Washington (MDW). The 3rd Infantry is the oldest regiment still active in the Regular Army, having been first organized as the First American Regiment in 1784. It has been the official ceremonial unit of the U.S. Army since 1948.

Reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition (RSTA) squadrons are a type of unit in the United States Army. These are cavalry squadrons, and act at the squadron (battalion) level as a reconnaissance unit for their parent brigade combat teams. These RSTA squadrons continue on the Recondo legacy of the Vietnam era Long Range Reconnaissance Patrols (LRRP), however, compared to the LRRPs they are often assigned additional non-reconnaissance responsibilities such as battlespace ownership.

The Oregon Army National Guard is a federally mandated and equipped military organization under the civilian direction of the Oregon Military Department, with the Governor of Oregon as its Commander-in-Chief.
