The 22nd Golden Disc Awards ceremony was held on December 14, 2007, at the Olympic Hall in the Olympic Park, Seoul. Ryu Si-won and Kim Ah-joong served as hosts. [1]

Criteria

Albums and songs released between December 1, 2006, and November 30, 2007, were eligible to be nominated for the 22nd Golden Disc Awards. [2] This was the first year that bonsangs were awarded in the digital music category. [3] The winners of the album and rookie categories were determined by album sales (60%), a panel of music experts (20%) and online votes (20%), while the winners of the digital music category were determined by digital music sales (60%), a panel of music experts (20%) and online votes (20%). [2] Music sales were based on data from Dosirak, Melon, Muz, MusicOn, Bugs! and Mnet. [3] The Popularity Award was based on online votes (60%) and a panel of music experts (40%). [2]

32nd Golden Disc Awards 2018 award ceremony

The 32nd Golden Disc Awards ceremony was held on January 10–11, 2018. The JTBC network broadcast the show from the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) in Ilsan. It is the second consecutive year that the show was hosted at the venue. Lee Seung-gi and Lee Sung-kyung served as hosts on the first day, with Kang So-ra and Sung Si-kyung on the second.

Kim Ho-joong is a Korean classical crossover singer and tenor born on October 2, 1991. He came to prominence in both popular music and classical music in Korea in 2020. He was discharged from military service on June 9, 2022. After being discharged, he performed with Spanish opera singer Plácido Domingo and collaborated with Korean pianist Yiruma. His second classic album Panorama, released in July 2022, recorded 700,000 copies initial album sales.

"10 Minutes" is the debut single by South Korean singer Lee Hyori from her debut studio album Stylish...E, which was released through DSP Media and CJ E&M on August 13, 2003. A hip hop and dance number, "10 Minutes" was written by MayBee with production handled by Kim Do-hyun. Following its release, the song became a commercial hit in South Korea and spurred numerous musical and fashion trends at the time—its popularity gave way to what domestic media dubbed as the "Hyori Syndrome".

The 30th Golden Disc Awards ceremony was held on January 20–21, 2016. It was initially scheduled to be held at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center in Shenzhen, China, but was instead staged at Kyung Hee University's Grand Peace Palace in Seoul due to security concerns. Jun Hyun-moo, Kim Jong-kook and Seohyun served as hosts on the first day, with Jun, Krystal and Leeteuk on the second.

The 28th Golden Disc Awards ceremony was held on January 16, 2014. The JTBC network broadcast the show from Kyung Hee University's Grand Peace Palace in Seoul. Minho, Jung Yong-hwa and Yoon Doo-joon served as hosts on the first day, with Taeyeon, Tiffany and Oh Sang-jin on the second.
