James Elliot Bourne is an English singer-songwriter and musician. He is known as the co-founder of pop punk bands Busted and Son of Dork, and he also created his own electronic project: Future Boy. From 2013 to 2015 he was a member of McBusted, which consisted of himself, Busted bandmate Matt Willis, and McFly.
"A Moment Like This" is the debut single by American singer Kelly Clarkson. The song was written by Jörgen Elofsson and John Reid from British house music project Nightcrawlers) and produced by Stephen Ferrera and Steve Mac. "Sleeping with the Light On" is a song by English pop rock band Busted. It was the second song that band members James Bourne and Matt Willis wrote together. It was recorded in 2002 for their debut album, Busted, and later released on 11 August 2003 exclusively in the United Kingdom and Ireland as the album's fourth single. It reached number three on the UK Singles Chart. In 2014, McBusted performed this song in an acoustic live session.
Leon Jackson is a Scottish singer. He won the fourth series of British talent show The X Factor in 2007. The Saturdays were a British-Irish girl group based in London, England. The group formed during the summer of 2007 and have been on hiatus since 2014. The lineup consists of Frankie Bridge, Una Healy, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King, and Vanessa White. They were formed through Fascination Records, a sub-division of Polydor Records, who gave them an instant record deal with the label. As soon as the contract was finalised, the Saturdays went on tour with Girls Aloud during their Tangled Up Tour. The group's music style is pop, but throughout their career, their management has experimented with dance-pop and electropop. Songwriters and producers Ina Wroldsen, Steve Mac, Camille Purcell, and Quiz & Larossi have helped create their music. In July 2008, The Saturdays released their debut single and first Top Ten hit, "If This Is Love". Their debut album, Chasing Lights, released the same year, charted at number nine on the UK Albums Chart; it was certified platinum by the BPI and produced three more top ten singles: "Up", "Issues", and "Just Can't Get Enough". "Work" was also released from the album. The group's first concert tour, The Work Tour, took place in 2009. The group's second album, Wordshaker, produced the Top Ten hits "Forever Is Over" and "Ego". In 2010, the Saturdays released a mini album, Headlines!, which contained the top 10 hits "Missing You" and "Higher", the latter of which featured guest vocals from Flo Rida. The mini-album was supported by the group's second concert tour, The Headlines Tour. Their third album, On Your Radar, was released in 2011 and resulted in two top 10 singles: "Notorious" and "All Fired Up".
"Work" is a song by British-Irish girl group The Saturdays from their debut studio album, Chasing Lights (2008). The song was written by Ina Wroldsen, Harry Sommerdahl and Kalle Engström. It was released on 29 June 2009 as the album's fifth and final single.
Eoghan Karl Christopher Quigg is a footballer and pop singer from Dungiven, Northern Ireland, who finished third in the fifth series of the British television music talent contest The X Factor in 2008. As a result of his X Factor success, Quigg was due to be signed by Simon Cowell, X Factor creator/producer and owner and CEO of Syco Records, but was instead signed to RCA after Cowell pulled out. Quigg released an eponymous studio album in 2009, to strongly negative reviews. Quigg competed in the Irish national selection for the chance to represent Ireland in 2014 at the Eurovision Song Contest but finished second.
Diana Vickers is an English singer, songwriter, actress and fashion designer, who initially came to public attention as a semi-finalist on The X Factor in 2008. Vickers signed a record deal with RCA Records and, after touring with her fellow finalists from The X Factor, played the title role in a West End revival of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice.
"Number 1" is a song composed by Tinchy Stryder featuring vocals from Dappy of N-Dubz, and co-written by Dappy, James Lavelle and Fraser T. Smith, who is responsible for the production, from Tinchy Stryder's second studio album, Catch 22. Victoria Louise Lott, better known by her stage name Pixie Lott, is an English singer and songwriter. Bass Generation is the fourth studio album by Swedish musician Basshunter. It was first released on 28 September 2009, a week after the album's lead single "Every Morning". The album reached No. 2 in New Zealand and No. 7 in South Africa.
"Forever Is Over" is a song by English-Irish girl group The Saturdays, from their second studio album, Wordshaker. The song was released by digital download on 5 October 2009 as the lead single from the album. The song was written by Louis Biancaniello, Kahmarl Gordon, Sam Watters, James Bourne and produced by The Runaways. It was later included on their EP Headlines! (2010).
Wordshaker is the second studio album by British-Irish girl group The Saturdays, released on 12 October 2009 through Fascination Records. It is the group's first album to feature a song where they are credited as writers. Upon release the album peaked at number nine on the UK Albums Chart, but the following week fell out of the top 30. In August 2010, the album was removed from digital music platforms, due to their EP "Headlines!", being released featuring some of the same material. In August 2018, the album returned to digital music platforms following a request to the label by the Pop Music Activism Twitter account.
Joseph McElderry is an English singer and songwriter. He won the sixth series of the ITV show The X Factor in 2009. His first single "The Climb" reached number one on both the UK Singles Chart and the Irish Singles Charts. He was also the winner of the second series of Popstar to Operastar in 2011 and the first series of The Jump in 2014. In 2015, McElderry played the lead role of Joseph in the touring production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. In 2022, McElderry is set to perform a tour in tribute to George Michael.
"Once" is a song by English singer and songwriter Diana Vickers, written by Cathy Dennis and Eg White for Vickers' debut studio album, Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree (2010). "Once" was produced and mixed by Mike Spencer and released as the album's lead single and Vickers' debut single on 16 April 2010. It reached number one on the UK Singles Chart, making it Vickers' most successful single release to date.
"Gravity" is a song by English recording artist Pixie Lott from her debut album, Turn It Up (2009). Written by Ina Wroldsen, Jonas Jeberg, Mich Hansen and Lucas Secon, the song was released as the album's fourth single on 8 March 2010.
"Bring It" is a single by Barbadian British singer-songwriter Jodie Connor, which features vocals by Tinchy Stryder. It was released by digital download on 20 February 2011 on Polydor Records straight after its first radio play, which could be a factor to how it didn't match the success of Now Or Never.
