Founded in 2005 by Chris Sloan and Carla Kaufman Sloan, 2C Media (2C) is a content production company and creative agency based in Miami, Florida. [1] The company produces both original cable television programming (2C Originals) and broadcast promotion and design campaigns. The 2C production facility houses 13 edit suites, audio and in-house graphics. [1]

Broadcast promotion and design

A major segment of 2C's business is broadcast promotion and design, work that has included television series launch campaigns, [9] streaming platform launch videos, [10] brand integrations, [11] sizzles, upfront presentations and other promotional elements. In 2019, the company was recognized for its contributions to this industry with its third Agency of the Year nomination from entertainment marketing association Promax. [12] 2C ultimately earned a company-best 14 Promax Awards in 2019, [13] with one of its winning projects, a brand integration for Discovery Channel's Shark Week and Crest, earning 6 Promax Awards, in addition to a previous Golden Trailer Award. [14]

Flip2C

In 2016, 2C announced its digital joint venture with Flipeleven Creative to launch Flip2C, expanding its services beyond the traditional television and over-the-top (OTT) space to take on projects for technology companies. Flip2C capabilities include websites, apps, micro-sites, display ads, takeovers and mobile-first products and activations, as well as the scaled video capabilities and best practices to serve diverse platforms like Vine, Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram. Among the joint venture's initial projects was a multi-platform promotional campaign for The Weather Channel mobile application. [15] [16] Most recently, Flip2C produced and delivered three branded videos for National Geographic’s Planet Or Plastic initiative and Brita's The Filtered Life initiative [17] that were used across Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat, as well as on a special dedicated microsite.

Jetix is a defunct worldwide children's television network owned by Jetix Europe, Jetix Latin America and ABC Cable Networks Group. The Jetix brand was used for children's blocks and channels featuring action and adventure-related programming, most of which had previously aired on Fox Kids, as well as some original programming.

WPLG ABC affiliate in Miami, Florida

WPLG, virtual and VHF digital channel 10, is an ABC-affiliated television station licensed to Miami, Florida, United States and also serving Fort Lauderdale. The station is owned by Berkshire Hathaway as its sole broadcast property. WPLG's studios are located on West Hallandale Beach Boulevard in Pembroke Park, and its transmitter is located in Miami Gardens, Florida.

WSFL-TV, virtual channel 39, is a CW-affiliated television station licensed to Miami, Florida, United States and also serving Fort Lauderdale. The station is owned by the E. W. Scripps Company. WSFL-TV's studios are located on East Las Olas Boulevard and Southeast 2nd Street in Fort Lauderdale ; its transmitter is located between Northwest 210th and 207th Streets in Andover. On cable, the station is carried on Comcast Xfinity channels 11 and 435.

WAMI-DT UniMás TV station in Hollywood, Florida

WAMI-DT, virtual channel 69, is a UniMás owned-and-operated television station serving Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States that is licensed to Hollywood, Florida. It is one of two East Coast flagship stations of the Spanish-language network. WAMI-DT is owned by the Univision Local Media subsidiary of Univision Communications, as part of a duopoly with Miami-licensed Univision co-flagship WLTV-DT. The two stations share studios known as "NewsPort" on Northwest 30th Terrace in Doral; WAMI-DT's transmitter is located in the Dale Village neighborhood of Pembroke Park, Florida. On cable, the station is carried on Comcast Xfinity channel 23.

Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd. is an Indian content creator, aggregator and distributor, specifically in the media and entertainment industry. It was founded by Buddhichand Maroo in 1962 as a book circulating library under the name Shemaroo and set up India’s first video rental business in 1979. The company went national after it began content distribution in 1987, became aggregators and bought rights to movies for home video.

Snapchat is a multimedia messaging app developed by Snap Inc., originally Snapchat Inc. One of the principal features of Snapchat is that pictures and messages are usually only available for a short time before they become inaccessible to their recipients. The app has evolved from originally focusing on person-to-person photo sharing to presently featuring users' "Stories" of 24 hours of chronological content, along with "Discover," letting brands show ad-supported short-form content. It also allows users to keep photos in the "my eyes only" which lets them keep their photos in a password-protected space. It has also reportedly incorporated limited use of end-to-end encryption, with plans to broaden its use in the future.

Fusion TV is an American pay television news and satire channel owned by Fusion Media Group, a multi-platform media company that is owned by Univision Communications, which relies in part on the resources of its parent company's news division, Noticias Univision. Dr. Miami American plastic surgeon

Michael Salzhauer, is an American celebrity doctor who practices plastic surgery. He is active on social media as Dr. Miami, has been on reality TV, has recorded a song, and written a children's book. He runs a plastic surgery practice in Bal Harbour, Florida.

Vice Media Group LLC is an American-based Canadian digital media and broadcasting company. Chris Sloan is an executive producer for television and Chief Creative Officer of 2C Media (2C), a Miami-based production company and agency he founded with wife Carla Kaufman Sloan in 2005.

DJ Khaled American DJ, record producer, author, media personality, and record executive from Louisiana

Khaled Mohamed Khaled, known professionally as DJ Khaled, is an American DJ, record executive, songwriter, record producer, and media personality. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Khaled first gained prominence as a radio host in the 1990s on Miami hip hop station 99 Jamz. His popularity later prompted hip hop group Terror Squad to hire Khaled as the DJ for their live performances. After gaining some production credits on the group's material, Khaled then transitioned into curating albums, releasing his debut studio album Listennn... the Album in 2006, which earned gold certification.

Innovid is an online advertising technology company that offers services used by advertisers and publishers for the distribution and management of digital ads. Originally launched as a video marketing platform, the company expanded its offering to include display and digital out-of-home when Herolens was acquired in 2019.

Tastemade, Inc. a video network that offers food and travel related programming for online audiences.

Cheddar Inc. is a live streaming financial news network founded by Jon Steinberg in the United States. Cheddar broadcasts live daily from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Nasdaq, the Flatiron Building in New York City, and the White House lawn and briefing room in Washington, D.C. covering new products, technologies, and services.
