Their best known songs include the UK top 10 hit "Wordy Rappinghood" and the US top 40 hit "Genius of Love", both from their 1981 debut album, and a cover of The Drifters' "Under the Boardwalk" that reached the UK top 30.

It consists of lead vocalist Kim Sasabone, female vocalist Denise Post-Van Rijswijk and male vocalists Robin Pors and Donny Latupeirissa. Casting and selection of the act was done by van Diepen.
Apollo 440 are a British electronic music group formed in Liverpool in 1990. The group has written, recorded, and produced five studio albums, collaborated with and produced other artists, remixed as Apollo 440 and as ambient cinematic alter-ego Stealth Sonic Orchestra, and created music for film, television, advertisements and multimedia. They notched up ten UK top 40 singles with three top-tens, and had a chart presence worldwide.

The song was written by Steven Levis, Nosie Katzmann and Jay Supreme, and produced by Torsten Fenslau. Tania Evans is the lead vocalist and Supreme is the rapper. "Mr. Vain" achieved huge success worldwide, reaching the number-one position in at least 13 countries. In the United States, it peaked at number 15 on the Cash Box Top 100, number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number two on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. In 1994, the song earned an award at the German Echo Award, in the category for "Best International Dance Single" and an award in the category for "Best Hi-NRG 12-inch" at the WMC International Dance Music Awards in the US. Its accompanying music video was directed by Matt Broadley.
"Up'N Away" is a song by German Eurodance group Mr. President. It was the first song ever that received a golden record without charting in the German top ten. And this was also the last single to receive participation from rapper George "Sir Prophet" Jones, as Delroy "Layzee Dee" Rennalls replaced him soon after the release. To avoid confusion after Jones left the group, the song was rerecorded for their debut album, Up'n Away - The Album (1995), with Rennalls providing the lead vocals as he did for the rest of the album's songs.
"Crying in the Rain" is a song recorded by German Eurodance band Culture Beat, released in February 1996 as the second single from their third studio album, Inside Out (1995).. The single charted in many countries, reaching its best chart positions in Hungary, Germany and Denmark, where it was a top 10 hit. It also reached number-one on the Canadian RPM Dance/Urban chart. A CD maxi-single containing remixes of "Crying in the Rain" was also released under the name "Crying in the Rain Remixes".
"Dreams (Will Come Alive)" is a song by Dutch Eurodance group 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor featuring D-Rock and Des'Ray. It was released by Lowland Records in June 1994 as the fourth single from the group's debut album, Dreams (1994), and is their most commercially successful single. Peaking at number-one in the Netherlands, the song was also used in the Dutch movies Flodder 3 and New Kids Nitro and in the Italian film Happy as Lazzaro.
"Never Alone" is a song by Dutch Eurodance group 2 Brothers on the 4th Floor. It was released in November 1993 as the third single from their debut album, Dreams (1994). Produced by brothers Martin and Bobby Boer, the song was their first single featuring rapper D-Rock and singer Des'Ray. It was a number-one hit in Brazil, Israel and South Africa. In the group's native Netherlands, the single peaked at number two. In 2014, new remixes of the song by JoeySuki and Jonathan Pitch were released. Its music video sees the duo performing on a beach in Mexico.

Outside Europe, it was a number one hit in Israel for two weeks. In 2014, "Fly (Through the Starry Night)" was released in the Netherlands in a new remix by Jaz Von D (a.k.a. Jasper Kuijper).

It was released in 1996 by Lowland Records and CNR Music as the third single from the group's second album, 2 (1996). In their native Netherlands, the song peaked at number four, while entering the top 50 in Belgium (46) and Sweden (49). On the Eurochart Hot 100, "Fairytales" peaked at number 85 in March 1996. Outside Europe, it was a number one hit for one week in Israel. A computer generated music video was produced to promote the single, directed by Ben Liebrand.
