3 Bar Ranch Cattle Callin' was met with "mixed or average" reviews from critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a weighted average rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream publications, this release received an average score of 46 based on 6 reviews. [6]
In a review for Slant Magazine , critic reviewer Jonathan Keefe wrote: "Cattle Callin is a concept record whose concept is so deeply flawed that it never should've made it as far as the studio. Cattle Callin provides Hank 3 with another opportunity to showcase his technical chops, even his arrangements and vicious guitar riffs grow repetitive after the first few tracks." [4]
3 Bar Ranch was a part of Hank's live show replacing the Assjack set. Both live bands have had notable extreme drummers performing alongside Hank, like Tim Yeung (Nile), [10] Joey Gonzalez (Phil Anselmo) and Phil Cancilla (Malevolent Creation). [11] Hank's last live show was October 6, 2014 at the Ogden Theater in Denver, Colorado. Cancilla is the last drummer to perform live with Hank.

Shelton Hank Williams, known professionally as Hank Williams III, is an American singer, songwriter, and multiinstrumentalist. He was the drummer of hardcore punk band Arson Anthem, and bassist of Phil Anselmo's band Superjoint Ritual. Predominantly styled in country music, punk rock and heavy metal, he has released eleven studio albums, five of which under the label Curb Records.

All songs were recorded in Hank III's home studio The Haunted Ranch. The album features guest appearances by Tom Waits, Ray Lawrence Jr., Eddie Pleasant, Alan King (Hellstomper), Les Claypool (Primus), Dave Sherman, Troy Medlin (Sourvein), and Williams' dog Trooper. Ghost to a Ghost/Gutter Town consisted of two of the four albums Hank Williams III simultaneously released on September 6, 2011, on Hank 3 Records (hank3.com), with distribution through Megaforce Records. It is also Hank III's first album to be released by Megaforce, after leaving Curb Records in 2010.
Clancy's Tavern is the fifteenth studio album by American country music artist Toby Keith. It was released on October 25, 2011 by Show Dog-Universal Music. Lead-off single "Made in America" was released on June 13, 2011, reaching number one on the country charts in October 2011.
