The Baeksang Arts Awards, also known as the Paeksang Arts Awards, are awards for excellence in film, television and theatre in South Korea. The awards were first introduced in 1965 by Chang Key-young, the founder of the newspaper Hankook Ilbo, whose pen name was "Baeksang". It was established for the development of Korean popular culture and art and for enhancing the morale of artists. They are regarded as one of the most prestigious entertainment awards in South Korea.

Lim Ji-yeon is a South Korean actress. After appearing in a number of short films and plays, she had her first feature film role in Obsessed (2014). The role earned her a Grand Bell Award and a Baeksang Arts Award nomination, among other accolades. She subsequently starred in the film The Treacherous (2015) and the television series High Society (2015), winning an APAN Star Award and a Korea Drama Award for the latter. She gained further success in the television series Blow Breeze (2016–2017), Welcome 2 Life (2019), and The Glory (2022–2023), as well as the film Spiritwalker (2021).

Jung Hae-in is a South Korean actor. He first made an appearance in AOA Black's music video for "Moya" in 2013 and officially debuted through the TV series Bride of the Century the next year. He gained recognition for his main role in 2017 television series While You Were Sleeping and for his supporting role in Prison Playbook. Jung had his first lead role in the 2018 drama Something in the Rain, and followed with One Spring Night in 2019. Jung gained even greater recognition through his lead roles in D.P. (2021) and Snowdrop (2021–22).

It is considered the highest honor in the Television division of the ceremony. Beyond Evil is a 2021 South Korean television series starring Shin Ha-kyun and Yeo Jin-goo. It aired on JTBC from February 19 to April 10, 2021. It received seven nominations at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards, winning three – Best Drama, Best Screenplay, and Best Actor for Shin Ha-kyun. It was also selected as one of the final candidates for the Baeksang Arts Award Grand Prize – Television.

Decision to Leave is a 2022 South Korean romantic mystery film produced, co-written and directed by Park Chan-wook. It stars Tang Wei and Park Hae-il.

Park Hae-young is a South Korean screenwriter, best known for writing television series Another Miss Oh (2016), My Mister (2018), and My Liberation Notes (2022).
