The 5th Annual Honda Civic Tour was a concert tour headlined by the American band Maroon 5. [1] [2]
Fresh off the heels of their multiple Grammy nominations; the Marketing Factory, Inc. announced the band would headline the fifth edition of their annual concert series, the Honda Civic Tour. [3] This outing was announced in January 2005, during a press conference at the famed Whisky a Go Go. Speaking on the tour, bassist Mickey Madden stated:
"This is the first headlining U.S. tour we've done in a long time. We're playing some of the biggest places we've ever played, which is very exciting. And we're taking out some bands that we really like and who are good friends. We grew up with Phantom Planet here in L.A. The Donnas add a nice variety. And the Thrills are a band we really like. Our crowds tend to be receptive to who we take out." [4]
During moments in the tour, the band performed standalone concerts in Toronto and Vancouver, with additional shows at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo [5] and Star of Texas Fair & Rodeo. [6]
The final performance on May 13, 2005 at the Santa Barbara Bowl was recorded and released on the Live – Friday the 13th live album which came out on September 20, 2005.

The Vertigo Tour was a worldwide concert tour by the Irish rock band U2. Staged in support of the group's 2004 album How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, the tour visited arenas and stadiums between March 2005 and December 2006. The Vertigo Tour consisted of five legs that alternated between indoor arena shows in North America and outdoor stadium shows internationally. Much like the previous Elevation Tour, the indoor portion of the Vertigo Tour featured a stripped-down, intimate stage design. Protruding from the main stage was an ellipse-shaped catwalk that encapsulated a small number of fans.
The Bridges to Babylon Tour was a worldwide concert tour by The Rolling Stones. Staged in support of their album Bridges to Babylon, the tour visited stadiums from 1997 to 1998. It grossed over $274 million, becoming the second-highest-grossing tour at that time, behind their own Voodoo Lounge Tour of 1994–1995. The Never Gone Tour is the sixth headlining concert tour by American boy band, the Backstreet Boys. The tour was launched in support of their fifth studio album, Never Gone (2005). It is the last BSB tour with all five members of the group, as Kevin Richardson left the band shortly after the tour concluded on June 23, 2006. The Rapture Tour was the first headlining concert tour by American recording artist Anita Baker in support of her second studio album Rapture (1986). The US Tour was Paul McCartney's second North American concert tour of the 21st century to promote his 2005's Chaos and Creation in the Backyard album. It was the ninth highest-grossing tour of 2019, with a total attendance of 999,242 from 95 shows, as well as a total revenue of $92,310,105.
